From writer-director Roger Conners comes Night of the Living Dead: Rebirth, a modern “reimagining” of George A. Romero’s classic Night of the Living Dead. The first teaser arrived back in 2015. Today, we have a brand new teaser trailer to share with you. The principle photography for ‘Night of the Living Dead: Rebirth’ is almost completed according to Dread Central. ‘Rebirth’ , written and directed by Roger Conners, should be completed before the beginning of 2016. In the film what begins as a yearly visit to their family’s grave side soon becomes a night of terror for two brothers as a horde of zombies give chase. Soon, eight strangers find themselves taking shelter from an army of undead, in an isolated farmhouse. Aswan Harris (Draft Day), Roger Conners (Fighting the Sky), Rachel Anderson (Raw Force), Bradley Michael Arner (Dark Moon), Taylor Nelms (The Gift), Jim Strang (The Shadow People), Hailey Moltz, RJ Messanger, Hailey Moltz, Benny Benzino and Dan Peters star in this indie sequel to the 1968 classic.

Writer/director Roger Conners’ has been quietly making a reboot of George A. Romero’s ‘Night of the Living Dead. In fact, the movie is already half through filming and he plans to wrap up in May. Conners is aiming to make the modern version of the 1968 zombie movie. Conners is making some big changes to the original Romero script, including changing the sex of some characters and even the sexual orientation of others, for instance in ‘Rebirth’ Barbra is a man. This indie zombie movie stars Aswan Harris, Rachel Anderson, Alvin Hudson, Bradley Arner, RJ Messenger and Taylor Nelms. I have a feeling this movie won’t be received well by a lot of the fans of Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, but who knows, it may bring a new group of horror fans into the zombie genre.
