Scream’ season 2 ended with that Scooby-doo-ish bloodbath which consisted of last October’s Halloween TV-movie. SCREAM’ Drops Tracy Middendorf…And Rest Of Cast?; Season 3 Equals New Cast, New Plot..New Show?

MTV’s slasher remake of Wes Craven’s SCREAM ended last in bloodshed and horror with last October’s Halloween Special. The TV-movie came after a suspenseful season of the fan-fav show. Past criticisms of the show, such as the very low bodycount totals, were put to rest with the film as it brought a hefty six corpses with its finale. The next season which was already reported to be a short 6 episode one, will be helmed with different showrunners and possibly a different direction due to the departure of series vet. Tracy Middendorf (Wes Craven’s New Nightmare). Does Middendorf’s departure mean her character has been murdered like in Craven’s slasher? Time will tell. Middendorf’s departure was confirmed via Twitter earlier this month The MTV series’ predecessor, the SCREAM film franchise, followed the story of Sidney Prescott as she and anybody in contact with her were terrorized and killed by the Ghost-faced killer. Prescott’s mother proved to be motive for the killing

SCREAM’ Turned 20: Where Are They Now? Scream 5?

Last week (12/20) SCREAM —also known as the film that made slasher movies scary again— turned the big 2-0. Twenty years later, three sequels and a awesome TV series (which will be getting a season 3 in case you forgot) and now talk of a fourth sequel by the star and famed writer, where do we begin? So if you stood tuned to my articles, I’ve covered everything to do with SCREAM: The TV series, including reviews, recaps and season updates. MTV’s series acted as the final project based around the infamous SCREAM franchise that Horror Master and my idol Wes Craven, was attached to before his shocking and untimely death in 2015. Craven stood as director of the franchise since its 1996 launch with the writing hand of then fresh face Kevin Williamson. With three sequels on hand, Craven sadly couldn’t stay with us long enough to produce any others, but as previously stated he did manage to have

[TV Review] SCREAM’ Halloween Special: Total Bloodbath SPOILERS

Returning with a gory and Halloween’ esque Halloween special, SCREAM aired last night. [Brutally] Murdering a main character in the opening scene, this set the tone for the rest of the episode: total bloodshed. And I kinda was not complaining. This time around Keiran gets slashed by the so-called returning king of Lakewood Bloodshed, Brandon James. News spreads quick about his murder and it wasn’t long before Brooke came to break the news to Emma. During this Noah and Gustavo are being praised by their editor Jeremy Blair that their book on the Lakewood murders (oh, how I love the Scream 1 homages) was a hit and demands a sequel. Putting an all expense trip to Shallow Grove Island together for Noah to get inspiration by a different mass murderer, Anna Hobbs, Jeremy sends Noah, his friends and himself off. With Audry’s new girlfriend, Gina, staying back for work, Audry has enough time this episode to bond with Emma and

SCREAM’ Premieres Tonight With A Two Hour Special – MTV Renewed For Season 3

Fans of the hit horror franchise, SCREAM should now rejoice: SCREAM: The TV Series has been renewed for a third season by MTV! Unfortunately though for fans the third installment will only hold 6 episodes. Now this could mean one of two things, one: “this is the final farewell” to Ghostface and SCREAM or, it could mean: “Shorter season (season 1 had 10 episodes, season 2 has 12 going on 13-14) more time for kills and less time for bullshit”, either one it is, the third season is slated for 2017 to air. Like season 2, season 3 is said to have a new set of show-runners, which means to me: MTV hated what Richard Register and Michael Gans did with the second season making it a psychological thriller rather than a slasher, which I kinda agree with. SCREAM should be a lot more gorier! The announcement for the third season I credit solely to the vast support fans of

[Recap/Review] SCREAM’ Season 2 Finale Revealed Ghost-Face & Cliffhanger

Scream’s Tuesday night season 2 finale brought SCREAM fans from all over to witness the un-masking of MTV’s Ghost-Face. The season 2 finale managed to homage Kevin Williamson’s SCREAM 1, 2 and 4 (he wrote some of it) and leave fans still clamoring for a season 3 (which is yet to be announced). If you stood tuned for my recaps (which some were equipped with reviews) you’d know I have been pointing my finger at Eli towards the end of the season right before the big un-masking which turned out to be [SPOILER ALERT] Keiran. What had fans still pondering as to if this was it, for SCREAM. Letting us know it wasn’t, Keiran got a phone call in prison by who claimed to be the resurrected Brandon James (the Killer everybody was copycatting, who was involved with the Lakewood massacre 20 years prior). Season 3 is still up in the air. Ratings have been not as great as I

[Recap/Review] SCREAM: Heavenly Creatures

SCREAM premiered on the 9th and TONIGHT is the big reveal find out WHO’S BEHIND THE MASK & the KILLER phone calls! Let’s get catched up SCREAMERS! The latest episode picked up with the hours after this occurrence [The Killer drowning Zoe and Maggie then leaving a note to the Killer to test if he really was the OG Killer/ex-lover from the OG massacre] which held the Killer entering the Duval house with a key —so right there you uncovered the Killer is somewhat close to the Duval’s to even HAVE a key—, Emma waking up to finding signs the Killer was in the house grabbed a pair of scissors for defense, but to her surprise she was only met by the haunting appearance of to a necklace with her name carved into a wideled heart hung on it, just like the OG Killer (a.k.a Brandon James) 20 years earlier gave to her mother Maggie. Cops soon showed up (I’m

[TV Review/Recap] SCREAM: The Vanishing

Last nights SCREAM the killer added another head to his demented list of victims and the SCREAM fandom went in a frenzy as Noah was seemingly about to be next to die. Opening with Maggie discovering a freshly stitched wound on Piper’s body after it was brought back into police custody. As Maggie unsealed the wound she was met by a pig’s heart, which gives a call back to the first season, which begs the question WHY a pig? Is it like a metaphor? Like “Maggie this is your heart, you are a pig!”. Well no. It has to do with something Sheriff Acosta and Maggie did in their youth. While we speculate, lets continue on EVERYTHING that went down last night. Emma had a one on one with Audry on why she brought Piper to Lakewood. Audry during this reveals to Emma she was with Piper the night Rachel (Audry’s GF) got murdered and the fact she knew she

[TV Review/Recap] SCREAM: The Orphanage

Scream: The TV Series’ has been steadily producing a suspense factor that some horror fans mistake for laziness. Based on the Scream films, the TV series focuses on the relationships between the main characters, the psychological toll on them and the rising body count of their small town by the Ghost-Faced killer. Last episode brought Emma to get a call by her boyfriend which was soon to be revealed to be the killer using her boyfriend’s phone. The killer then proceeded to taunt Emma with a video of her boyfriend tied up inside a Carnival Funhouse. As the tension rose, Emma set off into the Funhouse and the Lakewood deputy followed. As Emma searched for Keiran, her boyfriend, the Lakewood deputy got attacked by Ghost-Face. The deputy on the ground unconscious, was soon found by Emma and momentarily after was then raided for a gun in which Emma used to shoot the masked killer only for her to shatter the
