Zak Bagans Producing Charles Manson Documentary

There are a whole slew of Charles Manson films being releases soon. The Tarantino one starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio is getting the most spotlight and love…for obvious reasons, but we have just learned that ‘Ghost Adventures’ star Zak Bagans is producing a documentary on the modern day monster which will be titled ‘Manson’s Bloodline’. Bagans tells TMZ that filming began on the doc shortly before Manson’s death last year; “it will cover everything from Manson’s life to the news of his death and the court battle over his body… to exclusive footage of his open casket funeral.” This documentary will surely be informative, in-depth, and interesting. Regardless of the monster that Manson was and the absolute horrific nature of his life, he remains a very popular figure to examine. Bagans will surely do a fantastic job at exposing exactly who this racist cult leader was and what made him so appealing to his followers. No release date has

Charles Manson – The Man Who Thinks He is Both Christ and Satan

Monsters are real. Many articles have and will be written about mass murderers, serial killers, sociopaths and every other type of terror anyone can imagine. That being said, there are few monsters who come close to the topic of today’s article. This man brainwashed others to do, in his own words, Satan’s work. He was a beacon of evil for lost and damaged souls to latch onto and feel part of something. This monster gave his disciples purpose…the abominable purpose of Helter Skelter. Charles Manson was never convicted of murder himself, but he has spent nearly a lifetime in prison for composing one of the most publicised and vicious mass murders in modern history…and that is only a fraction of his reign of terror. The timing of this article coincides with Manson being admitted to a California hospital due to an undisclosed illness. Rumour is that Manson is suffering from gastrointestinal issues, but it is against federal and state law

Fa-la-la-la-la….La-la-la-Lawson….The Christmas Family Murders

1929 was a rough year. The stock markets crashed and it was the genesis of the dreaded dirty thirties. Many people had their lives ripped apart, but on Christmas Day, the Lawson family had their lives ripped away…by their own father. Charlie Lawson (age 43) his wife, Fanny (age 37) and their seven children, Marie (age 17), Arthur (age 16), Carrie (age 12), Maybell (age 7) James (age 4) Raymond, (age 2) and Mary Lou (age 4 months) had a large family on a failing tobacco farm in North Carolina. A few days before Christmas, Charley took his family to town and and used what little funds they had to buy new clothes and get a, now famous, family portrait. This action has led many to believe that his actions were pre-meditated as opposed to a spur of the moment psychotic break. First on the familial hit list were daughters Carrie and Maybell. They were murdered with a shot gun

Merry Christmas…Run and Hide! The Pardo Murders

I have never been a huge fan of Christmas. Obviously Halloween is the better holiday — there could be a whole article on the reasons why, but even without the comparison I have a tough time with this holiday. (It doesn’t help that the two most embarrassing moments of my life have happened due to this holiday) but I also don’t get all giddy about lights, trees, traditions, or parties. It’s not Christmas parties in general that I am opposed to, but simply the quantity of events that are squeezed into this month like fat circus clowns in a small car. That being said, there has never been a party that I have attended that has come close to the horrors of the annual Christmas Eve party of the Pardo family in 2008. Bruce and Sylvia Pardo were married in January of 2006. Their marriage started off rocky as it was discovered that Bruce was hiding a child from a

Elizabeth Bathory – The Blood Countess

For the most part, I try (especially in this series of articles concerning serial killers and mass murderers) to stick to the facts. I am of the opinion that these people’s deeds and lives are spicy enough without tarting them up with fantastical myths, rumors and opinions. With that disclaimer, the focus of today’s article has her life so twisted and ensnared by folklores and guesswork that it is hard to syphon through what is real and what is legend. I have corroborated with multiple sources and weeded out the obvious falsities to give the best possible outline of this The Blood Countess. It is rare to find a woman as vicious Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed. I do not know why women masochists and murderers are not as prevalent as men– maybe they are simply smart enough not to get caught and be awarded with grim notoriety, or maybe they don’t act upon the blood lust that their male
