French Obsession Thriller ‘Who You Think I Am’ Opning In Theaters This September

Director Safy Nebbou‘s feature adaptation of Camille Laurens’ French indie thriller Who You Think I Am will open in theaters in both LA and New York next week. An Official Selection at the Berlin International Film Festival, Who You Think I Am “balances cunning and vulnerability in this romantic cyber-drama turned psychological thriller from writer-director Safy Nebbou. Ghosted by her hunky twenty-something lover, Claire (Binoche), a middle-aged professor and single mom, creates a fake Facebook profile to do a little undetected online snooping. But when her 24-year-old avatar “Clara” is friended by her ex’s equally attractive roommate (François Civil), superficial correspondence quickly escalates towards intense intimacy and uncontrollable obsession. Adapted from Camille Laurens’ best-selling novel—and co-scripted by Julie Peyr, a regular collaborator of Arnaud Desplechin—Who You Think I Am blends genres and bends reality to dizzying effect.” Who You Think I Am opens in theaters on September 3, 2021.

Singer Donna Burke who’s performed many times on the Metal Gear soundtracks will also be performing memorable songs like “The Best is Yet to Come”, “Snake Eater”, and “Heavens Divide”. Should be interesting to point out that Burke has also done voice acting as well, notably playing Angela in Silent Hill 2 and Claudia in Silent Hill 3 as well as iDroid from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. She also can be heard if you ride the Tokaido
