Woman Marries 300 Year Old Pirate

Amanda, age 45, got married to Jack Teague which has people talking and admittedly creeped out and it’s he’s a Haitian pirate…it’s because he’s been dead for 300 years. Yes, Amada Teague married a ghost of a pirate with the help of a medium. The couple got married in international waters so their marriage would be legal even though Amanda did get a registrar to oversee the wedding while a medium helped interoperate Jack’s vows. Amanda says that she and Jack are planning on writing a book together to help spread the word about not only their love story but to hopefully help others to find love like they did. Amanda said she and Jack met when his spirit lay next to her in her bed one night and since then she’s always felt his presence around her and the two eventually started dating. Amanda says they’re like any other couple; they argue sometimes, like to watch TV together, play

Is This The End Of Universal’s Dark Universe?

Just 5 months after Universal released the first teaser image of some of the stars of their upcoming new Dark Universe film franchise the duo of Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan, hired to be the architects of the universe, have exited the project according to THR. The teaser included A-list actors like Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, and Russel Crowe and was meant to hook fans on the revival of characters like the Invisible Man, Wolf Man, Frankenstein, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Unfortunately, none of the planned remakes looks to still be alive and kicking. Universal even halted the filming of Bride of Frankenstein which had already begun production in London. Reportedly, the halt was due to execs feeling that the script written by director Bill Condon wasn’t ready. After viewers failed to get wrapped up in The Mummy, the first film of the franchise, it isn’t particularly surprising that they have put the venture on hold. Universal’s president

And A Bottle of Ho-Hum: PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES REVIEW

Is there a series with more severe dimensioning returns than Pirates? We are ten years past the last film in the series that was even considered passable, and fourteen since the only movie that was actually great. But hey, Johnny has alimony payments and these films somehow still make more money than all the gold on Treasure Island. So here we are with the 5th Pirates of The Caribbean film, which despite no-one asking for or wanting, everyone will end up dragging themselves to the theaters for anyway. At this point the franchise has long since gone rotten, and Dead Men Tell No Tales is the moldy fish scraped from the barrels bottom. Captain Jack Sparrow is back, but far from the Oscar nominated performance of the past, Depp has all the charm of a fifty year old man in the midst of a nasty divorce and domestic violence accusations trying to earn a paycheck. Lazy, stupid, and an afterthought
