John Wick Writer Adapting Japanese Manga ‘Hellsing’ For A Feature Film

When it comes to action-packed films John Wick is at the top of the list. The writer behind the pulse-pounding franchise, Derek Kolstad, is now gearing up to bring us another film that will keep us on the edge of our seats, the live-action film adaptation of the Japanese action-horror manga Hellsing for Amazon Studios, Deadline reports. Ever since my brother introduced me to the Hellsing manga and anime some years ago, I’ve been obsessed with adapting it,” Kolstad said in a statement. “Hellsing reimagines Dracula as Alucard, a special agent bound to The Hellsing Organization, under the leadership of Integra Hellsing, great-granddaughter of Abraham Van Hellsing, to aid them in their mission to protect England and the world from vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural threats.
