‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ Stars Give Insight Into The Sequel

One of the most highly anticipated horror films of the year, scratch that, the decade is now filming in Atlanta. After a decade of waiting and begging, fans will finally get to see the sequel to Zombieland. Titled Zombieland: Double Tap, the flick sees director Ruben Fleischer and the four main stars, Woody Harelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin reunite for another round of zombie slaying. During this week’s SXSW, Harelson and Eisenberg gave some insight into the film, Bloody-Disgusting points out. Luke Wilson Joins ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’

After ten years we are finally getting the sequel to Ruben Fleischer‘s Zombieland. Titled Zombieland: Double Tap, the movie will see the return of many of the original cast members as well as several new actors and characters. Speaking of new characters, Variety has announced that Luke Wilson (High Voltage, Old School, Idiocracy) has joined the cast to play a yet to be named character. Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin are all returning reprising their roles, with Zoey Deutch, Avan Jogia, and Rosario Dawson set to play new characters. “Silicon Valley” Actor Joins The Cast Of ‘Zombieland 2’

Variety reports that “Silicon Valley” actor Thomas Middleditch is the latest actor to join the cast of the long-awaited Zombieland sequel and will star alongside returning actors Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. Zoey Deutch and Rosario Dawson have also joined the cast. In Zombieland 2, the zombie slayers must face off against new types of zombies that have evolved since the first movie. They will also have to deal with new survivors along the way. Zombieland director Ruben Fleisher returns to the director’s chair for the sequel. Writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are also back for the horror-comedy that has already begun filming in Georgia. Filming Begins On Zombieland 2 And They Are Looking For Extras!

Some doubters have been worrying that Zombieland 2 will fall through again. Well, we are here to tell you that filming has already begun. In fact, word has come via 13WMAZ that several roads will be closed in Macon, Georgia next week during the shooting of several scenes. Ahead of February 4, 2019, the lower portion of Eisenhower Parkway will be shut down with Gravitational Productions in the area beforehand. Filming is set to run from February 4 through the 10th. Streets between Lower Boundry Street and Broadway will also be closed for filming. Want to get in on the action? Extras Casting Atlanta is currently running ads for extras in Macon. They also supply extras to “The Walking Dead.” In Zombieland: Double Tap we will see the return of the original stars including Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone. After years of hoping the Zombieland sequel is finally set to begin filming this month in Atlanta, with some scenes filmed in Tennessee. A lot of fans are having trouble believing the sequel is actually coming, but we can confirm that it truly is. It’s been ten years since zombie fans were introduced to Zombieland. Now, the sequel is finally on its way. After 10 years, Zombieland 2 is really happening! This is not a drill! News has come today, via Deadline, that Vampire Academy actress Zoey Deutch will be starring along with returning cast members Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin. Reportedly Deutch will be playing the role of Eisenberg’s love interest. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Venom) will be returning to the director’s chair for the sequel written by the original film’s scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who are also serving as executive producers. Gavin Polone will once again be producing. In Zombieland 2 the group must face many kinds of new zombies as well as other survivors. Listen up, grab your Twinkies and brace yourself, Sony has just officially announced the sequel to Zombieland. I know what you’re thinking, here we go again. This time not only has the cast been announced, it has a release date! Zombieland director Ruben Fleisher is returning for part two and he’s teaming back up with the original’s writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who were also behind Deadpool. Filming is set to begin in January with the original cast, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin. Gavin Polone is back as a producer with Reese and Wernick executive producing. Earlier this month we reported that the writers of Zombieland 2 said it was finally coming in 2019 and that the original actors would be returning, including Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin.
