The Conjuring 2’s New Featurette Contains Real Audio From The Warren’s Investigation

In the Conjuring 2, directed by James Wan, we witness Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to England in the 1970s to investigate the poltergeist activity plaguing a single mother and her children. Referred to as “The Enfield Poltergeist”, the real life haunting is the most well documented paranormal events in history. The Hodgson family experienced voices, levitations, manifestations and violence mainly directed towards one girl, Janet. The Warrens are still recognized as the most famous paranormal/supernatural investigators of all time. In both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 the Warrens are played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The first film was scary, but I expect the sequel to be terrifying. Franka Potente, Frances O’Conner, David Thewlis, Naria Doyle Kennedy, Javier Jerins, Sterling James, Robin Atkins Downes, Simon McBurney, Madison Wolfe, Shannon Kook, Lauren Esposito and Steve Coulter star along side Wilson and Farmiga. In one featurette for The Conjuring 2 we see the real Lorraine Warren and Janet Hodgson

Lorraine Warren Talks “Strange Happenings” In New Featurette For The Conjuring 2

The Conjuring 2, from director James Wan, the follow up to 2013’s haunting hit, is one the most highly anticipated movies of 2016. One the biggest draws to the film is that it is based on true events. The film, like its predecessor, is based on the investigations of famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. In the film the Warrens arrive in London in the late 1970’s, after looking into the Amityville Haunting, to investigate the intense paranormal happenings a single mother and her children are facing, known as the Enfield poltergeist. The film will also reveal the couple’s internal struggle of dealing with the paranormal world, the drain and the danger Lorraine faces with each investigation. “You know, we’re a little older, a little wiser. But we still have that same drive. That’s the crux of the Warren’s position: what’s good for their family, and what’s good for their souls, and

New Line May Have Found Their Director For Annabelle 2

Last October we reported that a sequel was in the works for Annabelle, the spin-off of The Conjuring. We told you that Gary Dauberman, who wrote the first film, will be returning for part two. We have since learned, via Bloody-Disgusting, that New Line has set there sights on David F. Sandberg for the directors chair. Sandberg is also the writer/director of direct James Wan’s full length adaption of the short horror film Lights Out, which will open in theaters July 22, 2016. In the first film a loving husband gifts his pregnant wife with an antique doll for their baby’s nursery. When their neighbors are murdered the doll becomes possessed by one of their spirits. Soon the family is plagued with intense paranormal activity. Annabelle was actually based on a true case handled by paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren, though the doll was given a makeover for her film debut.
