New Set Photos Give Us A First Look At Linda Hamilton In Terminator 6

The Terminator franchise has spanned three decades, with the latest film, directed by Tim Miller, currently filming. The first images have surfaced on Instagram, giving us our first look at Linda Hamilton as Sarah Conner and she is as badass as she’s always been. https://www.instagram.com/p/BkSUvDxHaOo/?taken-by=cinemediapage The images also include a look at Mackenzie Davis, who has a big part in the film that will ignore its predecessors T2, Terminator 3, and Terminator: Genisys producer James Cameron has stated. This is a continuation of the story from Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. And we’re pretending the other films were a bad dream. Or an alternate timeline, which is permissible in our multiverse. This was really driven more by [Tim] than anybody, surprisingly, because I came in pretty agnostic about where we took it. The only thing I insisted on was that we somehow revamp it and reinvent it for the 21st century.” Arnold Schwarzenegger will also be returning for the film.

New Terminator Gets Delayed

Tim Miller’s (Deadpool) untitled Terminator film, which serves as a direct sequel to Terminator 2, has been delayed. The reason has not been confirmed, but it may have something to do with star Arnold Schwarzenegger’s recent heart surgery, which he seems to be recovering from nicely. In fact, after waking up from surgery his first words were “I’m back!”. I think Cameron and Miller came up with a concept where they can continue on with the T-800 but make a whole new movie,” Schwarzenegger recently told Business Insider. “What they are doing now with this one is basically to just take a few very basic characters, like Linda Hamilton’s character and my character, and dismiss everything else. Just move away from all these rules of the timeline and other characters.” Blade Runner 2049 actress Mackenzie Davis recently scored a leading role in the film and will co-star alongside Linda Hamilton who will be reprising her role as Sarah Conner. He’ll Be Back – James Cameron Planning A New Terminator Film

James Cameron will regain the rights to his favorite creation, ‘The Terminator’, in 2019, 35 years after the release of the original. He is already planning the next sequel that will hopefully bring a proper close the long-waged battle between Skynet and humans. Cameron is currently in early talks with ‘Deadpool’ director Tim Miller to direct a reboot and conclusion of one of film’s greatest franchises, Deadline reports. Cameron sold the rights to ‘Terminator’ to producer Gale Anne Hurd for a mere $1, with the stipulation that he could not be fired as director. All to make sure his film was made. He went on to write and direct ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’, then distanced himself from the franchise. He has since gone on to write and direct a long list of fantastic films, such as ‘Aliens’, ‘The Abyss’, ‘Titanic’, ‘Avatar’, and is attached to direct four more ‘Avatar’ films. We will update you when we know more.
