Movie Review: Isabelle (2019)

Director Robert Heydon’s horror-thriller Isabelle is set to be released later this month. Before its release, I had the opportunity to check it out. Here are my thoughts. Warning: Mild spoilers ahead! At the beginning of the film, we are introduced to the lovely couple Larissa , who is very pregnant, and Matt (Amanda Crew and Adam Brody). ‘Isabelle’ Comes Home This September

Adam Brody (Shazam!) and Amanda Crew (Silicon Valley) star in Isabelle, coming to UK digital this September. Zoë Belkin (Carrie, Kiss & Cry) and Sheila McCarthy (The Umbrella Academy, The Day After Tomorrow) also star in the haunting psychological thriller directed and produced by Rob Heydon (Ecstasy) and written by Donald Martin (Never Too Late, Milton’s Secret). A long-time fan of scary movies, Donald Martin’s screenplay is his homage to Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, two classic films that loomed large in his imagination while he was growing up: “Rosemary’s Baby isn’t a story about Satan. It’s about a
