HorrorHound Weekend Indy Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary In Grand Style

Hello my Little Monsters, we are less than a week away from HorrorHound Weekend’s celebration of all things horror movie related. And what makes this year even more special is the fact that it’s HorrorHound’s 10th Anniversary convention. To celebrate this big occasion, the festivities (which run from Friday August 24th through Sunday the 26th) have been moved to more spacious digs at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. They are filling this large venue with over 50 celebrity guests from horror movies old and new, as well as over 100 special effects artists and mask makers at Mask Fest. Have you had enough yet? That’s good because there’s still more. There’s also numerous vendors, selling almost any kind horror related merch you could be looking for. Let’s also not forget about the HorrorHound 2018 Film Fest, as well as off site movie screenings at the Indiana State Museum’s IMAX Theater. Oh yeah, there’s also a kid’s costume contest,

HorrorHound Weekend – There’s Nothing Like HORROR For The Holidays

Now I know what you’re thinking, my Little Monsters, “wasn’t there a HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis just a month ago?” Yes there was, but the good folks at HorrorHound have decided to return to Columbus, OH and make it a part of their regular annual rotation. So just when you thought all the horror related festivities around Halloween have ended, HorrorHound Weekend keeps them alive by holding another rousing weekend of everything we love to fear at the Crown Plaza Columbus North, just after Halloween, on November 3rd, 4th and 5th. As we make that downhill run towards Christmas, HorrorHound will help kick it off with a Christmas themed convention. There will be celebrity guests from such movies as Gremlins, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Silent Night Deadly Night, Jack Frost, Black Christmas and even A Christmas Story, as well as many other genre favorites. They will also be holding the Ink Fusion Tattoo Festival, a retirement party for Fritz the

Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: Amy Steel

Hallo wieder meine Kleinen Monster (that’s “hello again my Little Monsters” to you and me, Rusty). It’s Wednesday again; August 30th of 2017 to be exact. And if you’re counting down like I am, you’ll also know that means HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis is a mere NINE DAYS AWAY (still seems like too many). That being said, I have chosen one of the guests that will be appearing as she who I have chose to highlight today. Of course you’ve likely seen the images above, so you already know this week’s wonderful Woman of Horror is Amy Steel. Amy is another type of Steel to come out of Pennsylvania, albeit not the rust belt variety. She grew up in West Chester, and around the time she began studying acting at the Westtown School is when her career began to take shape. With two summers of dramatic training under her belt, Amy joined Lionville, PA’s Barley Sheaf Players, starring in two
