An Interview With Horror Photographer And Artist Eric Richardson

At this February’s Days of the Dead Atlanta convention, I met a very talented photographer by the name of Eric Richardson at his booth. This week I had a chance to sit down and talk with Eric about his photography, his tattoos, and being buried alive (yes, you read that right). Horror Fuel: “I heard you won part of the tattoo contest at Days of the Dead Atlanta, congratulations.” Eric: “Yeah, I won for my back piece, it’s dedicated to ‘The Twilight Zone’. It’s nice to win one. My artist, Eric Newby, really wants me to enter them. My back piece is worthy.” Horror Fuel: “It looks amazing. That must have taken a while.” Eric: “36 hours, 10 sessions, I think. I gave him a bunch of stuff I wanted to be represented, all my favorite episodes. He gave me this picture and I was like, ‘Wow! This is amazing.'” Horror Fuel: “It is.” Horror Fuel: “Let’s talk about your

Stolen Innocence Photography’s ‘Blood Dress’ Taking The Horror Communtiy Storm

An image, titled “Blood Dress”, from photographer Melissa Trotter, is taking the horror community by storm. Trotter, owner of Stolen Innocence Photography, has an amazing talent for capturing the dark and beautiful. Blood Dress I spoke to Trotter about her artwork/photography. When asked about where she draws her inspiration from she simply answered “Everywhere.” Sacrifice Trotter rarely photos anything other than images of her design. The reason, she said she felt like she “would be cheating people. I’ve found that I only get really excited about doing my own designs. That might sound selfish, but it’s true.” When I asked Trotter if she had a favorite image so far, she spoke like a true artist, answering that “They are all my favorites, each for a different reason.” While scrolling through her website, I discovered exactly what she meant. Each image is dark and captivating, with no two photographs alike. Little Lost Girl It’s hard to believe that this incredibly talented

An Interview With Horror Photographer Joshua Hoffine

Joshua Hoffine is one of the most prolific modern day horror photographers in the world, at least that’s my opinion. When he granted me an interview I had a serious fan girl moment. I love Horror and I love art, when you combine the two you get something amazing. About five years ago I came across a horror picture that was completely captivating, the title of the photo, “Hands”. A woman in a ball gown being pulled through the floor by a mass of hands. I had to know more about the artist. When I found Joshua Hoffine’s website, I was blown away. What I though was a painting was actually a photograph. Hoffine’s skill and talent are off the charts. He captures a scene and with a flair that is rare to find. ‘Hands’ KM “How old were you when you discovered your love for photography?” JH “I started making photographs shortly after graduating from college. I discovered a
