Movie Review: Ghosts Of War (2020)

The moment I saw the trailer for writer-director Eric Bress’ Ghosts of War I knew that I HAD to see it. Not only is it a horror movie, but it’s also a war movie, two things I’m a sucker for. Are you tired of the same old overly hyped horror movie that promises to be “one of the best movies of the year” only to be a total let a down? Well, that’s not the case with Ghosts of War. It actually is that good. Ghosts of War opens with a haunting quote. This war will not end. With every mile my body and spirit break. Every jolt makes brittle my mind. Each step pulls me further from homeuntil I am the shell of the man that kissed my mother goodbye a forever ago. And I tense endlessly. Not knowing which will arrive first, the bullet that takes my life or my final chance for redemption. – Private First Class

Following its debut in the UK last year, the slasher reality series “Killer Camp” is heading to the CW in the US, paying homage to the 80s slasher films we love so much. In the series, “11 British strangers are shocked to discover they are not going on a fun new reality show called “Summer Camp’” but actually participating in a horror whodunnit called “Killer Camp.” Each night someone will be ‘murdered’ – and they must determine who the secret murderer is amongst them.” “The object of the game is to earn cash while avoiding being killed and therefore eliminated from the game. The murderer will bump off their fellow campers in ever more extreme, hilarious and inventive ways; it’s the job of the innocents to work out who is responsible before it’s too late… The killer will eliminate an innocent every night, assisted by the evil camp handyman “Bruce,” who actually executes the bloody hilarious death scenes. The new trailer has arrived for writer-director Natalie Erika James‘ haunting horror film Relic ahead of its July release. This July ‘Ghosts Of War’ Will Haunt Cinemas And Digital (Trailer)

I imagine if any place could be haunted it would be those locations where men died in the dirt fighting wars or places associated with horrible atrocities. In the new trailer for the World War II set supernatural thriller Ghosts of War, we get both of those things. We see a group of soldiers who are tasked with guarding a mansion, not knowing the terror that awaits them. In Ghosts of War, five battle-hardened American soldiers are assigned to hold a French Chateau near the end of World War II. Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, this unexpected respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield. Written and directed by Eric Bress, the film stars Brenton Thwaites, Alan Ritchson, Skylar Astin, Theo Rossi, Kyle Gallner, Billy Zane, and Shaun Toub. Ghosts of War arrives on July 17, 2020, in virtual cinemas, On Demand, and Digital, and will
