Exclusive Interview With Comic Book Creator, Writer And Actor Mitch Hyman, Satan Himself

Funny man Mitch Hyman wears a lot of hats, writer, actor, comic book creator, and expert story teller. He sat down with me to catch up and talk about what has been happening with him since our last interview back in 2016. Horror Fuel also snagged the exclusive on his upcoming sequel to Bubba the Redneck Werewolf which is killing it on Hulu. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Hyman’s Bubba the Redneck Werewolf the film, based on Hyman’s long running comic by the same name, is a story of a dog catcher (Fred Lass) who sells his soul to Satan (who I will also be interviewing) so that he can win back his girl, Bobby Jo (Melone Thomas). He ends up with as a werewolf with a bigger mission, to save the town from Satan (Hyman). You can learn more HERE. Yet Another TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE Reboot Gets a Release Date

I love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There’s a good chance you love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In fact, I’d guess it would be pretty hard to find a horror fan that doesn’t love, or at least respect, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now all that being said, do we really need another reboot? Well the good folks over at Lionsgate apparently think so, because were getting reboot number four! As far as the poster goes I will say I hate the feeling of wet socks, although I’m still not sure a puddle and skinny shins were the right direction to take. The plot itself, set to follow a teenage Leatherface breaking out of an asylum and kidnapping a nurse, doesn’t excite me either. While part of me wonders a little if his masks ever get adolescent acne, mostly it’s just boring. After all, isn’t that what a hulking, cousin fucking cannibal in a skin mask needs; and in-depth examination of what

An Interview With Scream Queen Tiffany Shepis

I had the opportunity to interview talented actress Tiffany Shepis, who you will recognize from both film and television. Not only did we discuss the genre in general, she gave me insight into her roles from the past and present. Check it out. Horror Fuel: “What made you want to become an actress?” Shepis: “I didn’t really want to become an actress, not that I had anything against it. I was young kid in New York, I didn’t have any family members that were in the business, so it wasn’t something that even seemed possible to me. I was reading a friend’s newspaper at school, they were a Broadway actor-kid, and there was an add for Troma. Troma was making a film called Tromeo and Juliet, and they were looking for extras. I was like ‘Oh my God! I love that company! I watch their movies all the time!’ So, I cut school and went to the audition and low-and-behold,

Director Joston Theney Talks Filmmaking And Awkward Serial Killers In An Interview

Today, I sat down to talk with Joston Theney. The Georgia native, who is an actor, writer, director, and producer already has several films and series under his belt, such as Bleed 4 Me, Axeman, Axeman 2: Overkill. He also worked as a writer and producer for the series Uncut and Let’s Do L.A. with Mr. Hollywood. Horror Fuel: “What made you want to get into the film industry?” JT: “You know, I’ve been a long time fan of film in general. Growing up, I was always a quiet kid. I was always kind of shy. I think all of that overtime naturally led to me picking up a camera.” Horror Fuel: “I have to ask, what was the name of the comic?” JT: “[laughter] I want to say

Creepy New Trailer for VALLEY OF DITCHES Drops

It’s said that everything’s bigger in Texas, but the stripped down new trailer for Valley of Ditches manages to deliver the horror with nothing but two great actors and a dusty mountain top. Starring Amanda Todisco as a woman left to die in an open grave and Russel Bradley Fenton as the man who left her there, Valley of the Ditches looks to be an interesting take on a tale as old as cinema. I’m always a sucker for a good dramatic dialogue, and Fenton’s discussion in the trailer of murdering his brother (and why it felt so right) is enough to give the sturdiest of spines a chill. Director Christopher James Lang, a well known producer behind several of your favorite true crime and paranormal tv shows, might just be delivering his magnum opus. And for everyone that hates the desert as much as I do, this just might be the scariest indie film released this year. Valley of

The Cat In The Hat Somehow Makes The IT Trailer Even Creepier

The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that….child murder that is! Taking a cue from the already vaguely horrifying 2003 film, famous internet mashup artist But Without has made a trailer combo for the ages, taking the recently released IT trailer and replacing all the horrifying Pennywise scenes with the somehow even more horrifying Mike Myer’s dressed as The Cat in the Hat. As both a huge IT fan (I read the book twice before I turned 13) and someone who actually really enjoys 2003’s Cat in the Hat (looking at it as a dark comedy designed to slowly drive Alec Baldwin mad makes it a lot funnier), this was the hardest I’ve found myself laughing in a long while. Truth be told, given the choice between being locked in a basement with a dancing clown or a 8 foot tall bipedal cat wielding a rusty hoe, I think I’d choose the clown.

He aims to deliver a real horror film by a horror fan, for horror fans. John sat down with me for an interview and to explain why Animal Among Us is a film people don’t want to miss. Animal Among Us is a story about a monster… Fifteen years ago, two teenage girls were murdered at Merrymaker Campgrounds. The case was filed an animal attack, the camp was condemned and the killer never found – but something horrific still waits in those woods. Horror Fuel: “When did you know that you wanted to be a filmmaker?” JW: “Good question. It was kind of an evolution.
