Hulu’s “Into the Dark” has just debuted their March episode “Treehouse”, a terrifying twist on the horror genre featuring a “MeToo” message. Jimmi Simpson stars as a chef with a pension for using his fame to get away with assaulting women. But a group of witches is out to teach him a lesson he’ll never forget. I had the pleasure of talking with Jimmi who took the time to answer my questions while on set about his episode of “Into the Dark: Treehouse”, his role in “Westworld” and much more. Horror Fuel: “Thank you for taking the time to talk with me. I’m a fan. I absolutely loved you in Westworld! Jimmi Simpson: “Thank you, so much. I loved being on Westworld.” Horror Fuel: “What was it like to be on that set? I imagine that is an incredible experience.” Jimmi Simpson: “It was humbling, I would say that is the first thought. I sat down with actress Savannah Kennick to talk about acting, life and her roles in the upcoming season of Arrested Development, Bloom, and the horror film Do Not Reply. Do Not Reply, written and directed by Daniel Woltosz and Walter Woltosz, centers on Chelsea (Amanda Arcuri), a high school introvert, is abducted through a social media app and is forced to look like other girls Brad holds captive. Chelsea desperately attempts to persuade them to escape before they all become victims in his virtual reality filmed murders. Horror Fuel: “Your character in Holidays comes to a pretty brutal end.” Savannah Kennick: “In Holidays I played Heidy in the Valentine’s day segment. She’s the school mean girl, but she kind of “gets what she deserves.” But it’s taken to another level.” Horror Fuel: “You currently have a role in the comedy series Arrested Development. I’ll confess, I love that show. What character will you be playing?” Savannah Kennick: “It comes

Ahead of its third season premiere on January 24th, I had the opportunity to talk with Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, hosts of the paranormal series “Kindred Spirits.” Not only did they tell me what viewers can expect this season, but also a little about their process, what drives them, and what sets them apart from other investigators. Horror Fuel: “What is the main goal of “Kindred Spirits?” Amy Bruni: “For us, it’s always to make resolutions be it to families or people that we are helping or for ghosts themselves. We like to always have an ending. We don’t leave until we provided some sort of solution to the problem or figure out who is there and why they are there and given recommendations on how to handle it. The main reason we started the show after we were on “Ghost Hunters” for several years, we had always confirmed that yeap, this place was haunted, but then we would

Megan Freels Johnston, that’s a name you should get familiar with because you are going to be hearing it a lot in the very near future. I sat down with the writer/director/producer to talk about her past film The Ice Cream Truck and her upcoming films, The Hunting Season and Payback’s a Bitch. Horror Fuel: “Where did you find the inspiration for your film The Ice Cream Truck?” Megan Freels Johnston: “I lived in a neighborhood that happens to have a lot of ice cream trucks and I had just moved there. What struck me about those ice cream trucks was that they were actually selling the whole ice cream cones and banana splits. When I grew up they just sold wrapped up ice cream bars. It seemed so old-fashioned to me. I had just had my second child and I was home with the baby. I kept hearing the trucks go by with the music. It occurred to me

I had the opportunity to talk with Nyasha Hatendi, who stars in the third episode of Hulu’s horror anthology series “Into the Dark”, one of my favorite new series. Hatendi is an impressive actor who got his start on stage and appeared in “King Charles III“, which received 6 Tony nominations including Best Play, before appearing in the series “Casual”, films like The Front Runner, and in the films The Good Shephard where he stars opposite Robert De Niro, and the soon to be released movie Replicas with Keanu Reeves. Set to premiere on December 7th, “Into the Dark: Pooka” is a Christmas themed nightmare starring Hatendi as Wilson, a struggling actor who gets a temp job as the Christmas character in a plush suit to promote Pooka, the hottest toy of the year. At first, it’s not a bad gig, but as time goes by Pooka slowly takes over. Horror Fuel: “You got your start in theater. What made

The Paz brothers, known for their supernatural film JeruZalem (review), have a new film on its way titled The Golem. Was it actually filmed in Jerusalem? Yoav Paz: “It was. Some of it was filmed in Nazareth and other old cities. It was just an hour’s drive from where I live in Telavive, driving there is like driving to a different country. We are working on the sequel which will also be filmed there. We are almost done with the script.” Horror Fuel: “That is fantastic news! I can’t wait to see it! Amaris Davidson, former NBA dancer turned actress, sat down with me to talk about her roles in films like Insidious 3, as Sarah in the soon to be released film Killer Kate! and her character Coach Fazholtz on the new supernatural series “Light As A Feather” which has just arrived on Hulu. Horror Fuel: “What was it like on the set of Insidious 3?” Amaris Davidson: “Oh, man. It was in a dilapidated hospital. It was a real hospital that they had turned into a movie set, exclusively for horror movies. Walking through the hall to get to where we were filming was interesting itself. It would give you a weird feeling. I don’t care for hospitals already, so it was really creepy. I play a nurse in Insidious 3, an ER nurse. There was a lot of blood in the prosthetics which were really beautifully done. They fire off the smoke machine and all you see is smoke coming
