‘Los Angeles Shark Attack’ Aims To Make Sharks Scary Again

Sick of goofy shark movies like Sharknado? Award-winning filmmaker Dustin Ferguson aims to make sharks scary again with his upcoming film Los Angeles Shark Attack. The beaches of Los Angeles have been the scene of several recent grisly mutilations. With the bodies drenched with water and scars not resembling any modern street weapon, the Police begin to suspect it’s a rogue Shark. With the Grand Opening of a new beachside resort quickly approaching and the bodies beginning to pile up, it’s up to Marine Biologist Rebecca Mattei (Brinke Stevens, “Slumber Party Massacre”) to crack the case and help local authorities capture the animal before it’s too late. The director who is behind over 60 horror films, has multiple other films coming out this year including the documentary The Party’s Just Begun: The Legacy of Night of the Demons, Home Videos 2, RoboWoman, Ghosthouse, and Nemesis 5. Los Angeles Shark Attack is currently running an Indiegogo campaign featuring killer perks like

Actress/Filmmaker Deborah Voorhees Talks ’13 Fanboy’

I recently sat down for an interview with writer-director-Scream Queen Deborah Voorhees, who starred in Friday the 13th: New Beginning, to talk about her upcoming horror film 13 Fanboy, a film about a killer stalking actresses from the Friday the 13th franchise. I learned during our conversation that the film was inspired by true events which makes the movie more frightening in my book. The cast features some of the biggest names from the franchise, including 3 actors who have played Jason Voorhees. Kane Hodder (Jason: Friday the 13th VII and VIII, Jason Goes to Hell), C.J. Graham (Jason: Friday the 13th VI), Thom Mathews (Friday the 13th VI), Judie Aronson (Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter), Jennifer Banko (Friday the 13th VII), and Ron Sloan (Friday the 13th V). The cast also includes, Drew Leighty (Never Hike Alone), Hayley Greenbauer (Chapters) and Vincente DiSanti who played Jason Voorhees in the fan film Never Hike Alone and “The Shape” in

Trailer For Fan Film Jason Rising Captures The 80s Vibe Of Friday The 13th

Fan films are getting a lot of attention these days. One of the films we’re keeping our eye on is Jason Rising whose trailer has just arrived. It gives off the same type of feel as the original Friday the 13th. It’s like taking a trip back in time to the 1980s, the golden age of horror films. With the lawsuit over the Friday the 13th franchise being sort of over, Victor Miller (the original film’s writer) is reportedly aiming for a reboot. Hopefully, Jason Rising will tide you over until the next official film happens. Karl Whinnery, James Sweet, and Robert Blanche are currently crowdfunding the project whose plotline involves cops and robbers. In Jason Rising Officer Pete Daltry is on the hunt for a fugitive on the run after escaping from the Wessex County corrections farm and headed in the direction of Camp Crystal Lake. He is accompanied by two agents from the fugitive recovery team but when
