Two Teasers Released For Netflix & Mike Flanagan’s New Series “Midnight Mass”

Netflix is gearing up to deliver another new horror series, titled “Midnight Mass.” The series will see the streaming giant reteam with brilliant filmmaker Mike Flanagan, who was also behind their series “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” Two Tweets from the “Haunting of Bly Manor” official account have now revealed hints about the series as well as two brief teasers for the seven-episode series set on an isolated island where a community is experiencing miraculous events and frightening omens following the arrival of a charismatic and mysterious young priest. First LooK: Images Surface From Netflix’s “The Haunting Of Bly Manor”

Netflix’s “The Haunting of Hill House” was a huge hit amongst critics and fans alike leaving viewers shaken. Since its premiere in 2018, fans have been wanting more and Netflix listened giving us the next haunting tale “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” Today, we’ve got the first spooky look at showrunner Mike Flanagan‘s new series. Based on the Henry James novella, The Turning of the Screw, about a young woman who travels to the countryside to care for two orphaned children. There she encounters entities and happenings she can not explain. Several of the cast members from “The Haunting of Hill House” are returning including Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas plays the uncle of the children, Kate Siegel, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen who stars as Peter Quint a business associate of the uncle. ‘Haunting Of Hill House’ Creator Adapting “The Midnight Club” For Netflix

The team behind Netflix’s hit series “The Haunting of Hill House” is now set to adapt the Christopher Pike novel “The Midnight Club” for the streaming giant, according to Variety. Originally published back in 1994, the story is set at Rotterdam Home, a hospice for terminally ill teens. A group of patients begins to gather at midnights to share scary stories. Eventually, they make a pact that whichever kid dies first they will contact the others from beyond the grave. Mike Flanagan, who brought us “Haunting of Hill House” and will deliver its sequel “The Haunting of Bly Manor” later this year, also serves as the creator for the adaptation along with Leah Fong. Flanagan will executive produce under the Intrepid Pictures banner along with Trevor Macy. Fong will also executive produce. “The Haunting of Hill House” fans are eagerly awaiting the second season of Mike Flanagan‘s horror anthology, The Haunting of Bly Manor“.”We can report today that filming has officially wrapped. Mike Flanagan has been teasing that the second season of his Netflix original series “The Haunting of Bly Manor” will be more frightening than the “The Haunting of Hill House” which was absolutely fantastic. Originally thought to just be an adaptation of Henry James’ “The Turn of the Screw,” Flanagan revealed to Games Radar that the series will also feature more of James’ tales. Directors Announced For “The Haunting Of Bly Manor”

Ciarán Foy (Citadel, Sinister 2, Eli) is one of the directors who have come on board to direct several episodes of Netflix‘s “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” Mike Flanagan took to Twitter last night to announce some of the other directors who will be helming episodes. Flanagan tweeted, “I’m really excited to be collaborating with some of my favorite filmmakers on The Haunting of Bly Manor.” In addition to Foy, that list includes Yolanda Ramke, Ben Howling (Cargo), Liam Gavin (A Dark Song), and Axelle Carolyn (Tales of Halloween, “Grim Grinning Ghost”). Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, Victoria Pedretti, Catherine Parker, and Henry Thomas will all be returning to play new characters in “Bly Manor.” They join new cast members T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Amelia Eve, Benjamin Ainsworth, and Amelie Smith.
