Gameplay Trailer For ‘Project Nightmares’

Two individuals are on a quest, a quest to scare the crap out of you in a new VR gaming experience that combines The Matrix and The Haunted Collector in the game Project Nightmares. The game was greenlit on STEAM and a demo of the game is available to play on PC. Players take on a role of a psychic who is working with a group of scientists on a project to study the paranormal, the group is called, Project Nightmares. Project Nightmares goal is to eradicate evil energies that are connected to objects as well as learning the history of the object in question. The playable character, while asleep, will be connected or plugged into the object and be sent into a nightmarish world that’s unique to that particular object. The developers, who are going by “NC”, stated the goal of the players is to find clues about the history behind the object as quickly and stealthily as possible

What Secrets Hide In ‘Remothered: Tormented Fathers’?

2018 seems to be the year for horror video games that want to make you not just experience a game but you feel like your partaking in a horror movie, I Love It! Darriil Arts brings the terror in the soon to be released horror game, Remothered: Tormented Fathers a survival horror game resembling The Evil Within, Clock Tower, and Amnesia, in mechanics and style. You not only have to investigate to uncover the truth but you have to hide from enemies and use button smash techniques to survive your encounters with enemies. Players take on the role of Rosemary Reed, visiting Dr. Felton who’s sick with an unknown illness and is being cared for by a nurse named Gloria. Rosemary’s true reasoning behind coming to Felton’s home will turn her visit into a nightmare as Rosemary begins to investigate the disappearance of Felton’s daughter Celeste. Rosemary Believes the disappearance is part of some massacre that was kept secret and

Players Take On The Hoard In ‘World War Z’

Gamers and fans of the film and book ‘World War Z’ will be able to take their love of the story a step further and actually be in the middle of the body-piling chaos along with friends in the upcoming 4 player Co-Op video game by Saber Interactive. The overall story is unknown but takes players to recognizable locations from the film as well as some locations that were not in the film. Players can make traps, upgrade weapons, build barriers, and use their surroundings to keep back and survive the (debatable) undead hoard. My prediction is the game will resemble that of ‘Left 4 Dead’ and ‘Killing Floor’ both game series focus on teamwork and reaching objectives while surviving an onslaught of zombies. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, you can check out the reveal trailer below and check out the website here!

Martian Insanity In ‘Moons Of Madness’

Norwegian game developer Rock Pocket Games is sending gamers to Mars where Lovecraftian horrors await in ‘Moons of Madness’. The game is a first-person psychological horror story where players take on the role of astronaut Shane Newhart who encounters supernatural events at the first research station on the red planet. The game takes a twist on the insanity element of the game where developers came up with a “Zone-Out” mechanic where players see through Shane’s eyes a mix of Shane’s past, events that have not happened yet or things Shane should not know but now does. These Zone-Out events are to add to the anxiety of the game for players making them question what information they are getting from these unique hallucinations are real or not. Keeping with true Lovecraft elements, when humanity thinks it understands the universe it throws a horrific curveball, exploring the unknown without really being prepared for it, ‘Moons of Madness’ is set to be released

Survival Horror & WWI In ‘Ad Infinitum’

‘Ad Infinitum’ means again and again in the same way; forever. Kind of along the lines of the saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” That seems to be hinting at what’s going to happen to players when they play StrixLab’s upcoming survival horror game, ‘Ad Infinitum’. According to the StrixLap website, the game takes place in a trench during the First World War but there are horrific creatures stalking around in them. While playing in first person, you have to solve puzzles, avoid traps and of course, avoiding the creatures whiles the lines of insanity and the horrors of war become blurred. The game is set to be released for PC and possibly for Console, the release date is unknown at this time but after seeing the trailer, I hope it’s soon and does make it to console!
