PC gamers will be given the opportunity to challenge the gods in order to save their friends in their own Greek Epic Argonus and the Gods of Stone by indie game developer Zojoi, the makers of Shadowgate. Players take on the role of Argonus, who washed ashore after his ship Argo crashed against the strange land that he must now explore in order to find his compatriots, the Argonauts. Argonus will face many perils in the form of creatures from Greek Mythology, puzzles, and the Greek Gods themselves. Argonus’s journey is not entirely dire as he is aided by the goddess Athena. The game was inspired by the works of stop-motion legend Ray Harryhausen (Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans) whose famed sword-wielding skeletons are one of the many foes you must encounter in this first-person experience. Argonus and the Gods of Stone is available now on Steam and Humble stores, along with the main game, the DLC

Fans of Layers of Fear better get ready to raise anchor and sail off into a living nightmare! Gun Media and Bloober Team allowed me the chance to try out their latest trip into terror, Layers of Fear 2. Does it hold up to its predecessor? Join me as we take a look. Layers of Fear 2 follows the same story arc of the first where instead of a world-renowned painter being tormented by supernatural mental baggage, it’s a popular actor. The actor is not just an actor but a method actor who’s known for really getting into character. The unnamed actor is on a cruise ship where the latest film he’ll be working on is being filmed. The film’s director (Voiced by Tony Todd) is mysterious and is known to make his actors go through “tests” to get them into peak performance almost adapting an extreme version of Stanislavski’s Method. These trials consist of traversing a nightmarish reality where

Camel 101 knows that a majority of people are afraid of the dark and will be exploiting the hell out of that in their upcoming game Those Who Remain. This first-person psychological thriller will put players in the role of Edward Turner, on the outside Edward is your average Joe but beneath his normal exterior is a troubled past which comes forth after arriving in the town of Dormont. The darkness is the enemy as it houses monsters that kill those who wandered the blackness for too long. Edward’s only salvation, stay in the light. Almost two weeks ago it was announced that The Evil Within 2 was getting a free update that would allow players to play the game in a first-person style view. For those who are not familiar with the overall premise of the story, here’s a bit of a breakdown. The Evil Within games are a cross between Silent Hill and The Matrix where you play as Sebastian Castellanos who in the first game was a police detective while in the sequel is now “former” detective. Sebastian is in a virtual world that was made possible by a machine called STEM, the machine operates with a “core”, a human acting as a battery, the first game it was a man named Ruvik, the inventor of STEM and a sadistic psychopath who’s twisted mind affected the world inside STEM turning some of those who were plugged into the world to turn into zombie-like creatures. In The Evil Within 2 Sebastian learns his

Bethesda just announced today that their terrifying game The Evil Within 2 got a free update, you can now play the game in first-person. The game is normally third–person, but in one part of the game, where players must navigate a trap-filled maze while avoiding a stalking enemy, it’s in first-person. Players really liked the added tension the first person perspective gave; some who played the game on PC found a way to glitch it so the whole game could be played that way. The developers were not upset by this but instead embraced it and made the update for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who don’t own the game yet are able to try a free demo of the newly updated game and play the first couple of chapters, to add to this awesome gift the saved data from the demo will be transferred over to the full game if the player chooses to get the whole
