Walking Dead Actors Who Auditioned For Different Roles

Several actors who star in the hit series ‘The Walking Dead’ actually auditioned for a role other than the one we know them for. Honestly, I think they all did great in the roles they did get. Norman Reedus Reedus, who plays our favorite redneck badass, actually auditioned for the role of Merle. The Walking Dead big-wigs were so impressed with Reedus that they created a character just for him, Daryl. He is the only main character on the series that does not exist in the comic that the show is based on. Sonequa Martin-Green You will recognize Green as TWD’s Sasha, though she originally auditioned for the role of the katakana wielding badass. Michonne. That role went to Danai Gurira. Green has just been cast in a lead role in the upcoming ‘Star Trek‘ series, which leaves us concerned about Sasha. Chad L. Coleman Coleman, who we know as Tyreese, auditioned for the role of Morgan. Lennie James ended

Three New Cast Members Join The Walking Dead

With ‘The Walking Dead’ approaching it’s October 11th premier date, it’s no surprise that news of new cast members is beginning to surface. Let’s face it, every time a new person shows up we have the same reaction, distrust and doubt. The names of the first three new cast members has now been released. The first character is Denise Cloyd, played by Merritt Wever. Wever has starred in films such as ‘Birdman’ and ‘Signs’ as well as shows such as ‘New Girl’, ‘Nurse Jackie’,’Law and Order’and ‘NCIS’. The character Cloyd is an adaption of the comic book character. The character Carter will be played by Ethan Embry. Embry’s character is a combination of multiple characters from Kirkman’s comics. Scott Gimple told Entertainment Weekly that the character “… is an Alexandrian, and has been there the whole time, just quite busy.” Ethan Embry should look very familiar. He’s been in several films, such as ‘Late Phases‘ (2014), The Guest (2014) and

Movie Review: Late Phases (2014)

On his first night in his new home, blind Vietnam Vet Ambrose (Nick Damici) and his dog Shadow are attacked. On the same night his elderly neighbor is also brutally murdered. The cops say it was an animal attack, there have been a lot of them lately. Ambrose did not see who it was, but he has an idea what it was. When the full moon comes again, he’ll be ready. In the mean time, he is determined to put the pieces together of who could be killing members of the community and the creature that killed his beloved Shadow. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a good werewolf movie, ‘Late Phases’ was just what I needed. This movie is not the usual, nonstop, action packed, gore filled werewolf movie, it takes the time to build a real story. You actually become invested in the characters and you really want justice for Shadow’s murder, damn it. Scriptwriter Eric Stolze
