An Interview With Damian Kindler, Series Creator Of Netflix’s “October Faction”

Netflix’s new series “October Faction” has it all, action, monsters, love, drama, magic. The series’ creator Damian Kindler (“American Gods”, “Sleepy Hollow”) took us inside the series and it’s making during our interview, which I’d love to share with you. Based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles, the series follows a family of monster hunters and their teen twins who discover that their parents are monster hunters which sends their lives spiraling into chaos. “October Faction” is produced by High Park Entertainment in association with IDW Entertainment. IDW Entertainment is the worldwide distributor (excluding Canada) for the series. “October Faction” builds on the success of IDW Publishing’s comic book series written by Steve Niles. Horror Fuel: “I’ve been watching October Faction. I’m really digging it. How difficult was it to adapt the series from the books?” Damian Kindler: “When you are doing something with this much story involved, you want as much time and as much money as possible

Four New Releases, Three Months, One Director – Writer-Director Justin Price Is Killing It!

Actor-writer-director Justin Price is doing something most directors never accomplished. Price is having four feature films released in a three-month span. And you won’t believe it, but he expects to do it again in 2018. Justin, who already has 14 titles under his belt, told us all about the films which are now be released and a few other during our interview back in October. Since that day he has filled us in on what he’s working on for 2018. Trust me, you want to keep an eye out for his future films. The man works with the energy of a kid hyped up on 3 Red Bulls and already has 14 films under his directing title, has appeared in 14 films, and has produced 21. Some might ask why he works so hard, for that answer, you’ll have to read the interview. Price has filmmaking and acting in his blood, his uncle is none other than hilarious actor-writer-director Kevin

An Interview With Director And Emmy Award Nominee Glenn Douglas Packard

Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with choreographer turned horror director Glenn Packard Douglas, a man with a love for the arts and a passion for horror. After many years of success serving as choreographer for musicians like Pink, Usher, and Michael Jackson, Douglas recently made his directorial debut with the slasher ‘Pitchfork‘. He was kind enough to talk with me about his career and ‘Pitchfork’. I would like to share that with you now. Horror Fuel: “I have to ask, what is like to receive an Emmy nomination?” GP: “I was at the peak of my career and it had led me to Michael Jackson. To work with Michael Jackson, it is like the one person you want to work with as choreographer. It shows determination. I was literally at a Barnes and Nobles hanging out when I got a phone call. ‘Is this Glenn Douglas Packard?’ and I’m like ‘Yes.” and then they said ‘You’ve been nominated

Women in Horror Spotlight: Justina Walford

This week’s Women in Horror spotlight was selected, I confess, due to the fact that her wonderful new horror flick The Ladies of the House is out on VOD this week. (May 1st to be exact; mark it on your calendars!) She and her husband John Stuart Wildman are the writing team/creative whirlwind that is responsible for bringing the horror genre a story about rockabilly cannibal strippers. (Yes, you read right! Rockabilly. Cannibal. Strippers.) The film is an incredible joy to watch. Walford has been a huge part of the creation of the suspense driven thriller which is ridden with symbolism, foreshadowing, and excellent use of costume design and other elements to explain aspects of a story which would otherwise be unknown to the viewer. If you enjoy thinking and predicting outcomes in films as much as you enjoy viewing all the gorey details, you’ll love The Ladies of the House. Although her previous credits don’t include many horror titles,
