Viral Twitter Ghost Story Dear David Getting A Feature Film

“My apartment is currently being haunted by the ghost of a dead child and he’s trying to kill me. That is how the viral tale of Buzzfeed writer Adam Ellis’ Twitter ghost story Dear David started back in August of 2017, which he still claims is a true story. I’ve never been interested in convincing anyone that ghosts are real–I just wanted to tell my story,” Ellis has stated. “If it was all fiction, I probably would’ve updated more than once every couple weeks.” The Twitter tale follows Ellis as he documents the alleged haunting of his apartment by a young boy with a dent in his head. Ellis has now announced that Dan Lin (Stephen King’s IT) is set to produce a feature film based on Ellis’ story. https://twitter.com/moby_dickhead/status/1004475290599518208 Mike Van Waes (The Crooked Man) is penning the script. BuzzFeed Studios’ Lauren Dolgan and Hieu Ho (Master Class) will produce alongside Lin and Jonathan Eirich (Death Note).

The Trailer For ‘IT’ Is Here And It’s Creepy As Hell

Today, fans will finally witness the first teaser trailer for IT, along with the first official poster (above). Yesterday, a teaser for the teaser trailer (I know what you’re thinking) arrived to give us a taste of the awesomeness that awaits us this summer, when IT opens in theaters. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids, nicknamed the “Loser’s Club”, are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries. Bill Skarsgard plays the role of the demented entity known as Pennywise. Directed by Andy Muschetti, the new adaption of Stephen King’s classic tale was written by Gary Dauberman, Chase Palmer, and Cary Joji Fukunaga. Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith,

‘IT’ Producer Gives Insight On The Reboot And Casting

The 80’s are back in a big way and filmmakers are capitalizing on it. Remakes and reboots of our favorite horror films and series are being announced left and right, including ‘Friday the 13th‘, ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street‘. Let’s not forget ‘IT’. The reboot is still shrouded in secrecy, but thanks to one of its producers we now know a little more. Back in June we got our first look at Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise in ‘IT’. But fans have been wondering what to expect from the new version. ‘IT’s producer Dan Lin recently gave Collider a few hints during the TCA Summer Presentation. I think a great analogy is actually Stranger Things, and we’re seeing it on Netflix right now,” Lin told Collider. “It’s very much an homage to ’80s movies, whether it’s classic Stephen King or even [Steven] Spielberg. Think about Stand by Me as far as the bonding amongst the kids. But there is a really
