Review: Hell’s Kitty Soundtrack Is A Purrfect Fit

If you haven’t seen the movie Hell’s Kitty you’re missing out. What’s not to love about a horror flick that centers on a man and his possessed cat? Written, directed by, and starring Nicholas Tana, Hell’s Kitty features cameos from some of horror’s biggest names, including Doug Jones, Bill Oberst Jr., Michael Berryman, Elissa Dowling, John Franklin, Courtney Gains, Nina Hartley, Lynn Lowrey, Dale Midkiff (interview), Victoria De Mare, and more! Not only is the movie great, but it has a killer soundtrack. From composer Richard Albert comes a soundtrack that features a wide range of tunes that sets the mood for Hell’s Kitty. From heavy metal to new wave, the music is a purrfect fit. With a feline theme, the soundtrack is ideal for both cat lovers and anyone who likes a funky sound. Appearing on the soundtrack is the Hell’s Kitty theme song, “My Pussy’s Possessed”, which is used as the central score throughout the film. MY PUSSY’S

‘Pet Sematary’ Remake Set To Begin Filming

Back in December, we reported that Paramount Pictures had set a date for the remake of Stephen King’s classic Pet Sematary. We’ve now learned that the film is set to begin filming in Toronto, Canada this May. The writing/directing duo of Kevin Kolsh and Dennis Widmyer, the team behind Starry Eyes, will be directing from the script penned by Jeff Buhler and David Kajgnich. The cast has yet to be announced, but Dale Midkiff, who played the lead in the original seemed optimistic during our interview last week that the remake might be good after asking his opinion. Maybe it’ll be good, you never know.” The story, first published in 1983, centers on Louis Creed and his wife Rachel who have just moved with their two children into a home near a busy road. Soon they learn of a Pet Sematary near their property, where legend has it that animals buried there come back to life. When his daughter’s cat

Dale Midkiff Talks ‘Pet Semetary’, ‘Hell’s Kitty’, And Cows In An Interview

When I got the opportunity to interview Dale Midkiff, I jumped at the chance. I’ll be honest I may have even had a “fangirl” moment while talking with Dale, the star of one of my favorite classic horror films, Pet Sematary. While he was amazing the film, he’s also had so many roles in a lot of great films and series, including “The Magnificant Seven” series, The Crow: Salvation, Deep Rescue, Flight of the Living Dead, “Dexter”, and most recently Hell’s Kitty. Hell’s Kitty is a cameo-filled horror comedy from writer-director Nicholas Tana about a man and his possessed cat Angel. The cast of Hell’s Kitty sounds like a who’s who of horror with cameos from Midkiff, Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), John Franklin (Children of the Corn), Kelli Maroney (Night of the Comet), and Lynn Lowry (The Crazies). Horror Fuel: “You were amazing in ‘Pet Sematary’.
