A Messy Attempt: Game Review ‘FORECLOSED’

Cyberpunk and Comic books go hand in hand but in a videogame format? In FORECLOSED players are in a cyberpunk world told like a comic book and follows Evan Kapnos who had his identity foreclosed on after a company he was augmented through went bankrupt, not only that, now people from an unknown organization are trying to kill him. Unfortunately, my experience with FORECLOSED was no very good, starting with a bug that would not let the game work for several days, even after the game’s launch, after it somehow started to work, I sort of wished it still hadn’t. To start off with, on a positive note, the animation is unique and the concept of having the game come across as an interactive comic made it intriguing… that’s the extent of the positive notes I have. Though the overall look of the game is supposed to be a “Comic” look, it’s just unappealing texture-wise. The change in views can

Brutal Horror Comic ‘OBSO/LETE’ Coming This August

Two bartenders in a run-down future city realize their district is being infiltrated and assimilated by cybernetic horrors. That’s the premise of OBSO/LETE, the highly-anticipated new horror comic from G.A Alexander (writer), Justin M. Ryan (artist), and Daniela Barisone (artist). Their trio’s goal is to produce a comic that marries the neon-drenched world of cyberpunk with the grim tone and nightmare aesthetics of horror. We were inspired by movies like Hellraiser and Blade Runner, as well as comics like The Crow and 30 Days of Night that offer a gritty street-level view of the fantastic and often horrific events that take place in their stories.” Alexander states. “1995: A Hacker Attack takes out half of the US Government’s infrastructure. In 1996, The US Cybersecurity Act outlaws and severely restrict access to any networked or mobile technologies for the entire country. 2046: NOW… The City, a sprawling metropolis consisting of almost twenty separate districts, is under immense pressure. Game Review: ‘The Ascent’

A big thank you to Neon Giant and Curve Digital for the opportunity to review this cyberpunk RPG! If you’re still being burned by a certain cyberpunk game earlier this year or can’t get enough of the cyberpunk aesthetics, then The Ascent is for you! The Ascent takes players to another planet where a corporate-operated city stretches high in the air and is home to millions of workers (more like slaves) to The Ascent Group arcology from all over the galaxy. One day, the company’s systems shut down putting the livelihood of all who live in the city in jeopardy as rival corporate groups and black marketers try to take advantage. I’m letting slide some tech issues as it’s been announced that patches are on the way in August and September but let’s get on to the game itself! This is a third-person shooter where the camera is set at a higher angle so aiming during combat can be slightly

‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Release Pushed Back AGAIN!

As the world awaits the release of one of the most hyped FPS games of the year Cyberpunk 2077, fans have been punched in the gut again and again as the release date changes. The release date currently was set for September 17th but today on Twitter, CD Projekt RED tweeted a message to fans announcing that the game’s release will again be delayed to November 19th. After reading the reasons for the delay, it’s understandable and a breath of fresh air as it seems many games are released incomplete or filled with bugs now which affect how reviewers and the public see the game if you’ve read any of my reviews in the past you know I can be critical of things like that. As much as it sucks having to wait, I go back to what I said before; it’s nice to see Devs giving a damn about a product for once.
