Red Band Trailer Teases The Horrors Of ‘Isolation’

Eleven filmmakers have joined forces for Isolation. The new Red Band trailer has just arrived giving us a glimpse of the unnerving film comprised of nine tales of survival filmed during lockdown. As a narrative framework, Director and Producer, Nathan Crooker created a fictional world many months into the future that is based around the current global pandemic. All eleven filmmakers used the same unifying framework in creating their stories. The filmmakers were tasked with how to stay creative using only what was available to them at the time. They were not allowed to use Zoom or any other video conferencing services and were only allowed to use the equipment and resources they had with them when they entered into lockdown, including cast and crew, adhering to their respective COVID-19 protocols. The impressive list of directors also includes Dennie Gordon (Jack Ryan, Legion, Hunters, Waco), Larry Fessenden (The Last Winter, Habit, Depraved”), Bobby Roe, (The Houses October Built 1&2), Andrew

Halloween Horror ‘Black Pumpkin’ Gets A December Release Date

Thanks to the delays due to Covid, genre fans are continuing to see Halloween movies be released, not that we are complaining. Festival favorite Black Pumpkin happens to be one of those movies, but this December it’s heading home. “On October 31, 2018, two preteens in a small town accidentally awaken an evil that has lain dormant for decades. They are forced to survive through a terrifying Halloween night of cat-and-mouse, from the monster known as “Bloody Bobby”.” Dogen Eyeler (PAW Patrol), Gemma Brooke Allen (SealTeam), Grayson Thorne Patrick (Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later), Kamilla Alnes (“American Horror Story”), Ellie Patrikios (In The Blink of An Eye), Alix Lane (One Minute Worlds), Jacques Derosena (“The Wire”), Connor Weil (Scream: The TV Series), Jo Osmond (Doctor Who), Jordyn Lucas (Room 104), Brittany Belt (The Rookie), and Joseph Barone (“American Horror Story”) star in a Ryan McGonagle film. Will We Ever See ‘Candyman’? Universal Delays Sequel Yet Again!

You can call his name five times, but Candyman won’t be making an appearance anytime soon. News has come that Nia DaCosta‘s Candyman has been pulled from release. Originally set to open in theaters in June and then moved to next month, Candyman will now arrive sometime next year thanks to the damn Coronavirus! The movie starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (US, Aquaman), Tony Todd (Candyman), Teyonah Parris, Colman Domingo, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett is produced by horror heavy hitter Jordan Peel who co-wrote the script along with Win Rosenfield. Candyman returns to the neighborhood where the legend began, where Cabrini-Green housing projects once stood. We all know not to say the legend’s name five times, but the characters in the movie say it anyway and bring down Candyman’s wrath upon themselves. We’ll keep you posted. Hopefully, a new release date will be announced soon.

Adrian Glynn McMorran Sheds Light On His Roles In ‘Volition’ And “Arrow”

Adrian Glynn McMorran stars in director and co-writer Tony Dean Smith’s soon to be released film Volition. I sat down with McMorran to discuss his role in the sci-fi action thriller about a man who sees glimpses of the future and sets out to save a young woman, played by Magda Apanowicz. McMorran is not new to exciting films, he’s appeared in films like The Revenant and Warcraft. But you will probably most recognize the talented actor from his role as Michael Amar aka Murmur on CW’s “Arrow.” Horror Fuel: “You did a nice run on Arrow as Murmur. What was that experience like?” McMorran: “It was really cool. For some reason on TV, I end up playing a lot of bad guys. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s weird because like in the theater world when I do stage stuff I’m more like a Max Glee kind of guy. I guess I look mean on camera. Arrow was fun
