Video Game Review Double Feature! ‘Layers Of Fear’ & ‘>Observer_’ For Xbox One

Recently I wrote an article about the bundling of the two horror narrative games, “Layers of Fear” and “>Observer_”. The games’ developer Bloober Team gave me access to play both of their groundbreaking games for one epic review! Since this is a double review, I’m splitting the games up to avoid confusion and the last couple of paragraphs will be my final thoughts on both games. “Layers of Fear” is about a painter in the midst of the mental breakdown and his obsession over his latest art piece that he hopes will put him back on top. After you start looking at your latest work, that’s when the terror starts. As you explore the house, hallucinations begin to take over of paint drenched hallways, malformed specters, and artifacts that reflect your troubled past as you try to explore for answers only have your senses toyed with by the other side. ‘Terrified’ Is Making Waves At Film Festivals

Making its way around film festival circuits is an Argentinean film that’s making a big impact, Aterrados (Terrified). The movie overall, is a mix of a cop drama and horror. Aterrados (Terrified) is about a cop who’s heading towards retirement and he’s also known for having a big interest in paranormal investigating and because of his interest, he’s called in to investigate a series of strange deaths. The deaths are occurring in houses doors down from one another. The cop meets a well known paranormal investigator who’s handling a missing person case in the same area. The pair, along with other paranormal investigators, team up as they soon learn that the cases are all linked.

Movie Review : WolfCop (2015)

Lou Garou (Leo Fafard) is a lazy alcoholic and a poor excuse for a cop, that is until he is transformed into an ass kicking werewolf, with a taste for justice. One night while out on a call to break up a party out in the woods, Lou is hit from behind. He wakes in the morning with flashes of the night before , a murdered politician and a strange ceremony. ‘WolfCop’ is cleaning up the city’s dirt-bags and leaving a trail of bodies behind. After being seduced by a beautiful bartender (Sarah Lind), he finds himself in serious trouble, but it’s hard to keep a good wolf down. Amy Matysio (‘Just Friends’) plays the role of uptight Officer Tina. Lou’s friend Willie, who’s a little “off”, is played by Jonathan Cherry. Cherry had rolls in both ‘Final Destination 2’ and 2003’s ‘House of the Dead’. Lowell Dean wrote and directed this horror-comedy masterpiece. ‘WolfCop’ was gory, cheesy, over the
