Fans were crushed when TV’s “Constantine” was canceled by NBC back in 2015 (we still hold out hope that a network will revive it). But the good news is that the animated “Constantine” series will soon premiere on The CW’s Seed streaming service. Matt Ryan will reprise the role of the iconic comic book character Constantine for the animated series which is said to be darker than the live-action version that we loved so much. The character will be closer to its Hellblazer roots. Ryan will also appear in the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow” episode “Necromancing the Stone” as Constantine on March 24th. He’ll also appear in the series’ finale, comicbook.com reports. Don’t miss “Constantine”, arriving on CW Seed on March 24, 2018. Here’s a first look at the new series.

Funny man Mitch Hyman wears a lot of hats, writer, actor, comic book creator, and expert story teller. He sat down with me to catch up and talk about what has been happening with him since our last interview back in 2016. Horror Fuel also snagged the exclusive on his upcoming sequel to Bubba the Redneck Werewolf which is killing it on Hulu. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Hyman’s Bubba the Redneck Werewolf the film, based on Hyman’s long running comic by the same name, is a story of a dog catcher (Fred Lass) who sells his soul to Satan (who I will also be interviewing) so that he can win back his girl, Bobby Jo (Melone Thomas). He ends up with as a werewolf with a bigger mission, to save the town from Satan (Hyman). You can learn more HERE. Horror Fuel: “How did Bubba the Redneck Werewolf come to be?” Hyman: “I always loved Werewolves.

After years of hoping and dreaming fans had their hearts broken when Guillermo del Toro broke the news that there is zero chances of a third Hellboy film. While we know that we will never see Hellboy in a new story-line from del Toro, we haven’t seen the last of the big red guy. Mike Mignola, the creator of the Hellboy comic, took to social media to announce that Neil Marshall will be directing a reboot of Hellboy. He went on to reveal the Stranger Things actor David Harbour will be playing the lead character. Marshall has a great reputation in horror already. He’s behind Dog Soldiers and The Descent. He has also directed episodes of stellar series like Game of Thrones, Hannibal, and Westworld. I have to admit, I’m a little excited, but apprehensive at the same time. I don’t know how anyone could fill Ron Perlman’s shoes. I will always see him as Hellboy.
