Amber Alert Issued For Chucky And Glen (Yes, Really)

Two days ago subscribers of the Texas Alert System got a bit of a shock when they received an alert to be on the lookout for a kidnapper named Chucky and his son Glen. Yes, really. Issued on January 28th, the Amber Alert described Chucky as being a suspect, standing 3inches tall, weighing 16 pounds, wearing overalls, having red hair, and being 28-years-old. Glen, the reported kidnap victim, was described as a 5-year-old weighing 6 pounds, and being 2 feet 3 inches tall. To top it off, the alert also featured photos of the pair with a real number to call to report any sightings. Deadline reports that the Alert System apologized for the mistake. But we are guessing someone probably lost their job over it. The Texas Alert System told television station KENS 5 that the alert “is a result of a test malfunction. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused and are diligently working to ensure

Chucky Is Ready To Slash His Way Into Theaters In First Real Image From ‘Child’s Play’ Reboot

After months of teasing and waiting we finally have our first real look at the Child’s Play reboot. In the new art, we see Buddi, the new Chucky doll. Orion and MGM have teamed up for the Child’s Play reboot with Polaroid director Lars Klevberg in the director’s chair. Originally known as “The Good Guy Doll” the red-headed killer has been rebranded as “Buddi”, an A.I. doll vastly different from the original talking doll. The movie follows “(Aubrey Plaza) who gives her son (Gabrial Bateman) a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.” Beatrice Kitsos (“The Exorcist”), Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”), and Ty Consiglio also star in the film written by Tyler Burton Smith (Kung Fury).
