CULT OF CHUCKY Will Be The Goriest Film Of The Entire Franchise

Since the moment Cult of Chucky was announced back in January, we’ve been excited. I mean come on, who doesn’t love Chucky? The first image arrived later that month. And Back in February, returning actor Alex Vincent announced that filming had wrapped. Now, franchise creator, writer and director Don Mancini revealed at this weekend’s Monsterpalooza’s Cult of Chucky panel that the sequel will be the “goriest of all the movies”. That says a lot considering the level of gore in Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky. Remember when John Waters had his face melted off? The cast added even more tidbits during the panel. Actress Jennifer Tilly added during the panel that now the studio is considering a theatrical release. And Dourif revealed that the film was torture for her character. In the film, confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered

Our Favorite Possessed Doll Is Back In The New Movie ‘Cult Of Chucky’

After months of rumors and teases from writer-director Don Mancini, the title, teaser trailer, and plot of the seventh film in the Chucky franchise, that began with 1988’s ‘Child’s Play’, have been revealed, via EW. The film, titled ‘Cult of Chucky’, will begin principle photography on January 9th in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Brad Dourif, the long time voice of the possessed doll, will be returning once again. Dourif will be joined by his daughter Fiona, who starred in ‘Curse of Chucky’. What would a Chucky movie be without Jennifer Tilly? Thankfully, she will be reprising her role as Tiffany. Alex Vincent, from the original ‘Child’s Play’ film, will be co-starring. The film finds Fiona Dourif’s character Nica in an asylum for the criminally insane where she has been for the past four years. She has convinced herself that she killed her entire family, not Chucky. When her psychiatrist introduce a “Good Guy” doll as a therapeutic tool a string of

Don Mancini Says That Chucky Is Coming Home !

On Friday Chucky creator, Don Mancini, tweeted a photo of himself in front of the house from the set of 2013’s ‘Curse of Chuck’, which he wrote and directed. The caption under the photo states, “#Chucky IS FINALLY COMING HOME”. Mancini also tagged Alex Vincent, who starred in the first two ‘Child’s Play’ film. Leaving us to wonder if the new film will connect all of the previous films. There have been talks of Chucky’s return for a while. Mancini teased the filming for the sequel in a tweet to Jennifer Tilly back in February. The latest tweet is confirmation that our favorite little red-headed-psycho doll is truly on his way in the seventh film of the franchise. Word is, Fiona Dourif, who went toe to toe with Chucky in ‘The Curse of Chucky’, will be returning along with Jennifer Tilly to fight the possessed Good Guy Doll again in ‘Chucky 7’. For those of you who are not aware,

Don Mancini Drops Hint About Child’s Play 7

Back in 2013 the sixth film in the ‘Child’s Play’ franchise returned to its roots, reminding us of the first ‘Child’s Play’ films. For the past year, we have heard whispers of a seventh film in the works. Today, we finally have an update. Don Mancini, the creator and writer of the franchise, Tweeted a photo of the Glen doll (Chucky and Tiffany’s kid) “doubling for Chucky”. Leading us to wonder if the seventh film will be more in the vain of 1998’s ‘Bride of Chucky’ and 2004’s ‘Seed of Chucky’, which would be just fine with me. I love those movies. Either way, the good news is that film has entered preproduction. We do know that Jennifer Tilly, who co-stared in both ‘Bride of Chucky’ and ‘Seed of Chucky’, will be returning for ‘Child’s Play 7’ along with Fiona Dourif, who starred in ‘Child’s Play 6: Curse Of Chucky’. Dourif is also the daughter of actor Brad Dourif who

Don Mancini Is Already Talking Cast And Filming Locations For Chucky 7

Last year we reported that Don Mancini, who created that little red-headed psycho killer doll, Chucky, was working on the seventh film of the franchise. A few days ago Mancini tweeted Jennifer Tilly , the actress who plays Tiffany, the love of Chucky’s life and his partner in crime, and posed a question “So @Jtillathekilla2 should we shoot Chucky 7 in Capetown?” Tilly responded with “Capetown is great. The crew is really professional and you can’t beat the weather!” It sounds as in Chucky 7 is preparing to enter production and that makes me excited. With Tilly involved, I would have to assume that the next film will be more like The Bride of Chucky than 2013’s Curse of Chucky, but you never know. Word is, Fiona Dourif, who went toe to toe with Chucky in The Curse of Chucky, will also be returning to fight the possessed Good Guy Doll again in Chucky 7. For those of you who
