Kevin Smith Shares The Bloody Trailer For Anthology “Killroy Was Here”

Red State and Tusk director Kevin Smith is making his return to horror with the new anthology film Killroy Was Here. Killroy Was Here began as a Krampus movie but was re-written and morphed into a horror-comedy anthology inspired by the “Killroy Was Here” graffiti that popped up during World War II. During the ComicCon @ Home panel, Smith shared the first trailer (below) and compared the film to Creepshow and V/H/S. Smith also stated, “It’s got a theme that runs through it, and all these little stories that happen around [Killroy]. He’s kinda like a kid Avenger. If you fuck with kids, Killroy will show up. And he looks wonderfully goofy. Baldhead and a nose that hangs over the fence. [Robert Kurtzman] designed something that’s kinda horrifying but it’s also goofy at the same time.” Smith’s fellow Jay and Silent Bob star and long time friend Jason Mewes stars alongside Chris Jericho. Ryan O’Nan, Azita Ghanizada, Betty Aberlin, Gregory

Kevin Smith’s anthology KillRoy Was Here began filming last year and still continues. Today, we have some news. Smith has revealed that WWE star Chirs Jericho is set to play “a nasty-ass South Florida streamer” in KillRoy Was Here. Over the course of three trips to Sarasota, we’ve been making a modern-day Creepshow kinda flick with 70% of the crew being students so filled with raw talent, their pure passion for film and ability to find fixes to production problems makes up for any deficit of experience,” Smith said on Facebook today. “Every crew member wears multiple hats on a low budget film – so last night when Chris Jericho got to set, I asked the master podcaster and WWE icon to not only act but also operate the camera for himself in his scene as well! When presented with this info, did the Fozzy frontman show trepidation? No way: homey goes with the flow and not only CRUSHES his
