Series Review: “Evil” Is A Sophisticated Supernatural Series That Needs To Be Seen

Demons, angels, and miracles are just some of the things that are considered very serious in the Catholic Church and have been forever. In the series “Evil” we watch as a team made up of a priest in training, a psychologist, and a contractor delve into reports of exorcisms and more for the church. Kristen (Katja Herbers), a clinical psychologist, struggles so hard to be a good mother and wife while trying to find fulfillment in her work. Though she’s a skeptic about the supernatural world after being recruited by David she can’t deny what is happening in the world around her. David Acosta (Mike Colter), who brought her aboard his team, is the opposite, he’s a true believer. The other member of their team is a general contractor and computer wiz Ben Shakir, played by Aasif Mandvi, who believes that there is a scientific reason for everything. He delivers a lot of comic relief in the series and does

Horror seems to be taking over TV, and we couldn’t be happier. One of the new horror-themed series to look forward to is CBS All Access’ “Tell Me A Story” from executive producer Kevin Williamson. And the trailer has just arrived. This reminds me a lot of my early days,” Williamson told Deadline. “It took me back to another place. What I like is that there’s nothing on TV like it. It sits in its own little world.” The 10-episode show is based on fairy tales such as “Red Riding Hood”, “The Three Little Pigs”, and “Hansel and Gretel”, with horrifying twists. These characters are dealing what’s going on today,” said Williamson. “All these ideas are brought on to this fun, fast-paced and twisty show.” “Tell Me a Story“ “takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern-day New York City, the first season of this serialized drama interweaves

CBS Getting A New Zombie Detective Series Based On Best Selling Novel

CBS is adapting Stefan Petrucha’s best-selling novel ‘Dead Mann Walking’ for a new TV series. ‘Continuum’ creator Simon Barry will be penning the script for the series, according to THR. Barry “After Hessius Mann was wrongfully convicted of his wife’s murder, suppressed evidence came to light and the verdict overturned. Too bad he was already executed, but thanks to modern science, he was brought back to life, sort of. Now that he’s joined the ranks of Fort Hammer’s pulse challenged population, Hessius attempts to make a “living” as a private investigator. But when a missing persons case leads to a few zombies cut to pieces, Hessius starts thinking that someone’s giving him the run-around and it’s not like he’s in any condition to make a quick getaway…”
