Unintentionally Funny Moments In Serious Horror Movies

When one watches horror movies, the main reason for doing so is to be scared, disturbed, and entertained… not laugh or left dumbfounded by what you just saw. The following list count downs from the least to the most moments in horror films that were probably not meant to be funny but came out that way, and be warned, there are a lot of SPOILERS ahead. 10: Get Out First, we start off with the 2017 directorial debut of Jordan Peele, Get Out. The film is about a young African-American man named Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) who goes to meet his white girlfriend’s (Allison Williams) family who is part of a family ran conspiracy to transplant the brains of its ailing white family members and friends into healthy bodies of African Americans. Brian De Palma’s Next Horror Movie Inspired By Real Scandal

Industry heavy-hitter Brian De Palma has made his mark in the film industry with movies like Carrie (1976), Raising Cain, Dressed to Kill, The Black Dalia, Mission to Mars, Mission Impossible, and Scarface. Now, De Palma is working on a new script and his next project is a horror film, according to Indiewire. The film is inspired by disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, who was recently arrested on charges that include rape and sexual assault. But the character will not be named after the former Hollywood head honcho who is in serious trouble after being accused by multiple women. I’m writing a film about this scandal, a project I’m talking about with a French producer,” De Palma stated. “My character won’t be named Harvey Weinstein but it will ba a horror film, with a sexual aggressor and it will take place in the film industry.” While we don’t know a lot about the movie at this point it will be interesting

February is Women of Horror month! These ladies screamed their way into our hearts on the big and little screens and charmed us by their performance that stood the test of time (or will). Many people have their opinions on the best and memorable women of horror, well this is my list and my opinion, I hope you agree for my reasons so without further ado, here’s my list of the 25 best women of horror in no particular order! Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: P.J. Soles

So my Little Monsters, today we say goodbye to the month of May. BUT, being that it’s also Wednesday, it means we also say hello to another wonderful Woman of Horror. This week’s liebenswerte Frau (that’s lovely lady to you and me, Rusty), is the incredibly sweet and talented P.J. Soles. Pamela Jayne was born in Frankfurt, Germany to Nancy and Cornelis Hardon. P.J. and her parents were quite the globetrotters as she was growing up. No, not the Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal kind of Globetrotters. Her father worked for an international insurance corporation, so his career path took them all around the world. As P.J. was growing up, P.J. and her family lived in Morocco, Venezuela and Brussels, where she attended high school at the International School of Brussels. After high school, she attended Briarcliff College in Briarcliff Manor, NY, where she had aspirations of becoming the very first woman ambassador to the Soviet Union. However, after visiting

The Mothers Of Horror

Today we celebrate the mothers that made us who we are. Let us take a look at the mothers who made our favorite horror characters who they are and moms who made some of our favorite horror movies awesome. Norma Bates : Mother to Norman Bates. Norma and Norman’s relationship was key to Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’ (1960). Through out the original movie we see glimpses of Norma moving about and committing murder or did we? No, at the end of the movie we find out it was all Norman, played by Anthony Perkins, dressed as his mom. Norma has been dead for years and kept in the house in her chair. We also learn of the strange relationship between Norma and Norman. The question is, was the relationship that turned Norman into a twisted killer or was he just born that way?
