Burt Gummer Lets It All Hang Out In New ‘Tremors 7: Fury Island’ Image

Graboid hunter Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) is rocking a new and interesting look in the fresh image from Tremors 7: Fury Island. Gross took to social media for “Tremors Tuesday” with the image revealing the legendary Graboid hunter now looking more like a castaway Santa with a three-day hangover, rough. In the movie, “The deadly Graboids are back. They are illegally brought in to a new island resort by a rich playboy looking for a trophy hunt.” Michael Gross, who teased the sequel in our interview, is joined by 31 actor Richard Brake and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) in the new installment of the franchise. Brian Brightly penned the script for the movie directed by Don Michael Paul. Tremors 7 Kicks Off Filming This November

Gun enthusiast and Graboid specialist Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) is locked and loaded and he’s headed to Thailand for Tremors 7! The long-time Tremors actor took to Facebook announcing that filming kicks off on the seventh installment of the franchise – reportedly titled Tremors: Island Fury – in November. At this time no other actors have been revealed, but we do know that the movie is being directed by Don Michael Paul from a script penned by Brian Brightly, at least according to IMDb. While it has not been confirmed, the site also says that the film is set on a different continent where a small group of people on vacation soon find themselves followed by a strange underground creature. The last time we spoke with Michael Gross he had just wrapped on Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell and he was already teasing the sequel. Burt Gummer Is Locked And Loaded For Tremors 7

Great news Tremors fans, Universal has now officially given the go-ahead for the next installment of the franchise. Franchise star Michael Gross confirmed he is returning to reprise his role as survivalist and gun nut Burt Gummer. Tremors fans will be delighted to know I have just agreed to the terms of a contract for a SEVENTH film. My best estimate is that Burt Gummer will begin his hunt for Graboids and other nefarious forms of wildlife in the fall of 2019.” Gummer is the only character that has appeared in all seven films from the 1990 original movie to Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell which arrived on Blu-ray and DVD earlier this year. Back in 1990, when Tremors premiered, if you told me that one day I’d be interviewing Michael Gross, I would have told you that you were nuts. But this weekend, it became a reality and I’ll be honest, I had a bit of a fangirl moment. Mr. Gross and I discussed the latest film of the franchise, Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell. Burt Gummer to the rescue! It’s been 28 years since we were first introduced to Graboids, the giant subterranean creatures that plagued the isolated town of Perfection. Jamie Kennedy Is In A Tight Spot In This Behind The Scenes Photo From Tremors VI

The next installment of the Tremors franchise is currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa. The first images are already beginning to come in. Director Don Michael Paul just shared a new behind the scenes image on his instagram account of Jamie Kennedy in a sticky, gooey, tight spot, inside a Graboid. Yuck. Tremors VI Set To Begin Filming SOON

We reported back in October that the graboids were coming back. Today, new details emerged. We don’t a lot at this point, but we do know that Michael Gross, who has played the role of graboid hunter/gun enthusiast Burt Gummer, and Jamie Kennedy, who co-starred as Burt’s son in ‘Tremors V: Blood Lines’, will be returning along with director Don Michael Paul for ‘Tremors VI’. Gross announced that the sequel is set to begin filming next week, via his Facebook page. NEXT WEEK, Jamie Kennedy and Burt Gummer are off to South Africa to film the latest Tremors sequel.
