Director Brendan Jackson Rogers delivers this hair-raising movie starring Mitch Hyman, Malone Thomas, Gary Norris, Sara Humbert, Chris Stephens, and Fred Lass as Bubba. The soundtrack for this fun feature is provided by the rockabilly band The Blast-Offs. Based on Mitch Hyman’s comic by the same name, the film follows Bubba (Chris Stephens), a dogcatcher who makes a deal with Devil to get back his sweetheart Bobby Jo (Malone Thomas) by becoming a badass. In a recent interview with Hyman he revealed not only that Bubba is getting a sequel, but he also gave us the exclusive scoop on the details. The original 2014 film centers on Bubba (Fred Lass), a good-hearted redneck who works as a dog catcher. When his girl, Bobby Jo (Melone Thomas), leaves him for another man Bubba makes a deal with the Satan (Hyman), but it doesn’t quite go as planned. Instead of becoming a better version of himself he is transformed into a werewolf with a new mission, saving his neighbors in Cracker County from Satan. There is something you should know about me, I’m a coffee snob and a caffeine addict. You won’t find a bag of Folgers in my house. There are two things I don’t do cheap, toilet paper and coffee. Both are necessities in my life, but we aren’t here to talk toilet paper. Recently a friend of mine introduced me to a coffee shop and company by the name of ‘Coffee Shop of Horrors’. What could be better than two of my favorite things combined, horror and coffee? ‘Coffee Shop of Horrors’, owned by Roxana Stan, has a store/cafe located on Lakeside Drive in Montverde, Florida. They also a website with a ton of choices and something to please every type of caffeine connoisseur. Every bag and blend is inspired by a horror film, character or book. How cool is that? I tried out their “Bubba the Redneck Werewolf’s Spiced Bourbon” and compared it side by side to a bag of

Mitch Hyman’s name is one you might recognize. He is the creator and writer of the hilarious Bubba the Redneck Werewolf comic and the great 2014 film by the same name. Hyman is not only a great man, a writer and comic book creator, he is also a talented actor, producer and special effects artist. Mitch’s latest project, a novel titled Vinnie and Mook Hitmen in Paradise has not been long released. I happen to get my hands on a copy. Here’s what I thought. Not far into the novel it’s clear that Hyman has a knack for character development. First thing, we are introduced to Vinnie and Mook, as they dispose of a body at a gator farm. The dialogue between the two old school hitmen comes across like two siblings picking at each other in a snarky, but playful way. The first couple of chapters delve into Vinnie and Mook’s history and their relationship as business partners and

Earlier today I picked up the phone to interview comic book creator/actor/writer/producer/SFX makup artist/funny man Mitch Hyman, the man behind Bubba the Redneck Werewolf. I was not quite sure what to expect. I had no idea that Hyman would such an interesting, funny and sincere man. By the time I hung up the phone my sides were sore from laughing and my head was swimming with the fascinating stories he told. This man, who sometimes bills himself as “The asshole writer” at conventions, not a very fitting title, was far from unpleasant. It was the most interesting conversation I’ve had in ages. My interest in Hyman started over the hilarious trailer I discovered for his film Bubba the Redneck Werewolf , but I came to understand there was much, much more to the writer. Not only is there the Bubba the Redneck Werewolf comic, there’s a novel featuring two unique characters named Vinnie and Mook, who will be introduced in
