10 Horror Movies That Went Too Far Leaving Actors Wounded Or Dead

Most horror films are filled with special effects, but sometimes things go too far and actors themselves get injured during filming, in an attempt to go above and beyond to make sure that their character feels authentic. Here are a few times that things went too far. Check out the list and watch the scenes where they were injured or killed. Suspiria (2018) Dakota Johnson went through agony while filming the 2o18 remake of Suspiria. Filming messed up the actress so bad that she told EW that she ended up in therapy. Filing conditions were absolutely brutal. Much of the film was shot in an abandoned hotel on top of a mountain where it was so cold the cast and crew were left freezing constantly. The physical strain from the dancing scene after the scene left the cast exhausted and in pain much of the time. The Crow Reboot Takes Flight Again

After two years of silence, it appears that The Crow reboot has once again entered active development according to Bloody Disgusting. Last time around Sony Pictures had announced the release date for their reboot of the 1994 classic with Corin Hardy directing and Jason Momoa starring as the iconic character Eric Draven. Just as the movie entered pre-production it was revealed that both Hardy and Momoa had exited the project and Sony removed it from the calendar. This time no director or stars have been revealed. According to the site Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films, Highland Film Group, and Electric Shadow are still involved. Several people have attempted to reboot/remake The Crow in the past but the films never seem to get off the ground. Some fans think it’s is cursed. Maybe it is. Actor Brandon Lee who originally starred as Eric Draven was tragically killed on set in a freak accident with a prop gun during the filming of a

‘The Crow’ Reboot Is Dead (Again)

After the long-gestating reboot of The Crow sat in limbo for years watching directors and stars come and come and go Sony finally gave the movie an October 2019 release date with Corin Hardy directing and Aquaman actor Jason Momoa set to star. Today news has come via Deadline that The Crow won’t be arriving as planned. In fact, both Hardy and Momoa have now walked away from the movie. Deadline is reporting that both “formally withdrew from the film this morning.” The site also says that “Sony is close to exiting as the film’s worldwide distributor.” I’m told this has to do with creative and financial differences with Samuel Hadida, whose Davis Films holds the underlying rights and who was financing the film. Production was gearing up to start within the next five weeks in Budapest, and the picture was in full pre-production with Hardy presiding.” Deadline also stated. Momoa made a statement via Instagram about stepping away from

Sony To Reboot ‘The Crow’

I remember being blown away by ‘The Crow’ (1994) and I felt akin to the anti-hero seeking revenge for his and his girlfriend’s murder. However, the sequels were slightly…well…extremely underwhelming. This is why horrorfuel.com is excited to announce that Sony is going to try their hand at making ‘The Crow: Reborn’. Deadline just announced that the studio is giving James O’Barr’s beloved comic another chance. But this time, they’re going to stay more loyal to the source material. His film is the ‘Macbeth’ of cinema. It has been plagued with setbacks and tragedy (most notably the death of Brandon Lee during the filming of the original). Jason Momoa was rumoured to be taking the title role, but now that he is busy with ‘Auquaman’ there is no confirmation if he is still attached to the project. Obviously we will keep you posted right here!

The Crow Remake Alive Again

A while back we reported that ‘The Crow’ remake was dead in the water, due to Relativity Media’s bankruptcy. Well, it seems that the movie is alive again and is planned to be Relatively Media’s first post-bankruptcy film. Producer Edward J. Pressman has been credited with saving the film by filing an objection saying the remake could be seen as an asset to the company. The studio’s announcement that they were moving forward with ‘The Crow’ may be due to the fact ‘The Hollow’ directer, Corin Hardy, has now signed on for remake. A horde of actors, including Bradley Cooper, Luke Evans and Jack Huston have been attached to play the main character of Eric Draven, originally played by Brandon Lee, but none have stuck around for long. So far the remake has seen both cast and directors come and go. Maybe it’s just the universe trying to tell the studio to leave the iconic film alone. In the 1994
