Filmmaker Chris Sun Discusses The Real Exorcism That Inspired ‘The Possessed’ And More

Chris Sun, known for horror films such as Boar, Charlie’s Farm, Daddy’s Little Girl, and Come and Get Me, has a new addition to his credit, the supernatural horror, The Possessed staring Wolf Creek actor John Jarratt. We sat down with Chris to discuss The Possessed and the true story inspiration behind it. In the film, Jacob Chandler (Jarratt) is just an ordinary man with an extraordinary gift. The Possessed is a terrifying story of accidental exorcist Jacob and his nephew Liam (Lincoln Lewis). The two have forged a career clearing demons from the bodies of their clients. Of late, something has changed and demonic possessions are increasing, and in order to keep those he loves safe from the wrath of unspeakable evil, Jacob must fight for them to survive. Review: Things Are Just Ducky In ‘Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden’!

The creative folks over at The Bearded Ladies and Funcom were nice enough to allow me to review their new real-time strategy game, “Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden”. This story merges tactical strategy, stealth, and turn-based combat along with exploration and scavenging. Without any spoilers, the story takes place in the future after humanity pretty much messed everything up and years later the new generation is picking up the pieces. The world is known as “the zone” where it’s not safe to be, the only safe place is a haven called the “Ark”. A special group of explorers known as Stalkers ventures out into the zone to gather supplies and ensure that a race of marauders known as the ghouls are kept at bay. Now come our heroes, a mutant boar named Borman and a Dux the duck. While looking for a lost group of stalkers they meet up with one of the missing stalkers, Selma, she looks human

‘Boar’ Trailer Finally Released…And It Is Gory

The movie poster from the sure-to-be-gory film ‘Boar’ was just release, but now we have a trailer to go with it! The film will debut at the Brussels International Film Festival on April 13. One think I am most excited for (and it is very wonderfully obvious in the trailer) is the use of actual effects instead of CGI. That fact alone is enough for me to check out the film! In the harsh, yet beautiful Australian Outback lives a beast, an animal of staggering size, with a ruthless, driving need for blood and destruction. It cares for none, defends its territory with brutal force, and kills with a raw, animalistic savagery unlike any have seen before. Believed nothing more than a myth, a legend brought to life by a drunken local, the beast ventures closer to civilization, closer to life, and ultimately, closer to death. It’s brutal, it’s bloodthirsty… it’s Boar. ‘Boar’ stars Wolf Creek’s John Jarratt alongside Otis

‘Boar’ Film Poster Released

Since living in Australia, I have seen arachnids that Frodo certainly couldn’t escape from, bats that would make Batman sweat, kangaroos that could knock out Tyson, heat that has melted my shoes, and a variety of other things that are nightmare-causing. Now, just in case Australia needed one more thing that could kill you, there is a giant, rampaging boar! Chris Sun presents the first image and poster for his upcoming film, ‘Boar’ which is set in Australian’s nearly uninhabitable outback. Starring John Jarrat and Bill Moseley, the trailer is yet to be released but the images have my curiosity piqued! “Lurking within this picturesque setting is a dark and terrifying threat – a beast of staggering size with an uncontrollable desire for blood and destruction. Driven by its insatiable appetite for carnage, it defends its territory with brutal force and savagely takes on any who get in its way.” Keep a close eye on horrorfuel.com for all your horror
