A big thank you and flailing of tendrils to Asmodee Digital, and Artefacts Studio for the opportunity to take a look at the tabletop RPG turned Video game, Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace. The game is based on the popular “Arkham Horror” board game series by Fantasy Flight Games that takes place in the world of H.P. Lovecraft pitting everyday people fighting to protect their sanity while being pulled into the world of cosmic horror. Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace takes place in the 1920s where an acquaintance to an astrology professor from Miskatonic University finds her murdered in her own home by cultists, setting off a chain of otherworldly events tied to a comet she’s been researching. Now the friend along with others ventures out to solve her murder and the strange occurrences surrounding it. Now onto the game itself! Asmodee Digital has returned with great news for those looking forward to the release of Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace, a release date! Along with the news of the release date comes a new trailer and details on pre-orders. Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is based on the popular board game series of the same name and brings the characters from the games to life in one video game where all the characters have to solve the mystery surrounding an astrologer’s murder as her research brought her to the edge of Lovecraftian terror! Pre-orders are available now at a 20% discount on STEAM, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch’s e-shop. Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace will test your sanity on March 23rd, 2021 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Asmodee Digital released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming Lovecraftian detective game Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace based on the popular board game franchise Arkham Horror that pits a large roster of colorful characters against Lovecraftian creatures that signal the return of the old ones. Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is a tactical RPG combined with the deep narrative taking place in the world of Lovecraft where players take on the role of one of twelve iconic characters from the “Arkham Horror” bored games to solve the mysterious death of an astrologer all the while trying to keep their sanity and survive against fights with unspeakable creatures! Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace will be coming Q1 of 2021 for Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Fans of the popular tabletop RPG game series “Arkham Horror” will be happy to hear that their favorite characters are coming to life in Asmodee Digital’s video game, Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace. Set in a 1926 Lovecraftian world, players are tasked with solving the brutal murder of an Astronomy professor in her own mansion. Players have to pick from 12 iconic characters from the “Arkham Horror” board game series. Each character has their own set of skills that will be useful in their investigation into the murder. Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace will be a squad-based narrative adventure that features tactical RPG combat, investigation, and exploration mechanics. The character’s sanity will be affected by their encounters with Lovecraftian horrors and thus affecting their investigation. Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is set to be released in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
