Blu-ray Review: The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)

Back in 2013, we were introduced to Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as the real-life paranormal experts and demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. At the time we had no idea at the universe that would be born. Now, the third installment of The Conjuring franchise, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is coming to 4K, Blu-ray and DVD. Ahead of the release, I watched the Blu-ray as well as the many special features. Here’s my review. Spoilers Ahead In the movie, we witness the chilling story based on the real case of possession and murder that begins with David, a possessed child. When the curse is transferred to Arne Johnson he takes a life. Arne’s case is the first in US history to be pled as possession. As he awaits his trial things escalate and the Warrens learn that someone is behind the curse that has unleashed the demon, that’s when we are introduced to the latest Conjuring

Review: ‘Shock Docs: The Devil Made Me Do It’ Is Far More Frightening Than The Conjuring 3

Shock Docs has a history of putting out the best documentaries on frightening subjects such as the real stories from everything from the Amityville murders to documentaries about legendary killers like Ed Gein. They’re back again, this time with a documentary exploring the true story that inspired The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do it which just opened in theaters and premiered on HBO Max. Shock Docs: The Devil Made Me Do It dives deep into the true story of the case of Arne Johnson, who murdered his landlord and used the possession defense in court for the first time in American history. Arne Johnson’s (played in The Conjuring 3 by Ruairi O’Connor) experience with the supernatural began when his girlfriend and her family moved into a new house. Soon her little brother David began to show troubling signs of being possessed. That’s when the Warrens became involved. Out of desperation to help the young boy, Arne made the mistake

Movie Review: The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

The third installment of The Conjuring Franchise, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, has now opened in theaters and landed on HBO Max. Here’s what I think. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return to their roles as the famous real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which explores the real store of Arne Johnson, which marked the first time in U.S. history that used a demonic possession as a defense in a real murder trial. Consider this your warning, there are mild spoilers ahead. While we’ve known about the film’s plot for a while now, there were surprises in store for fans with many aspects of the story (both real and created) kept under wraps, such as the curse. For that we thank them. I hate watching a film that’s already been spoiled to death in trailers and by advertising campaigns. I’m guessing you’re wondering if it’s scary. The

The third film of the franchise is a twisted tale of murder, the supernatural, and the unspeakable horror that rocked the nation. James Wan Teases The Plot Of The Conjuring 3

Next year Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return as Ed and Lorraine Warren in The Conjuring 3, which has been said to be very different from its predecessors. During a conversation with Bloody-Disgusting, producer James Wan gave details of the film’s plot and reinforced that the film is based on a true story. It’s not necessarily based on an artifact but it’s based on one of the Warrens’ case files,” Wan said. All the Conjuring films are based on the case files, so they’re more based on the true story aspect of the real life Warrens. I think that’s important. It’s important that the mothership stays true to the inspiration of the real people. The spinoffs are where we get to have more fun and do weird and wonderful crazy things. The mothership of it being the Conjuring films, we want it to come back to the real stuff.” It’s this guy who was on trial for committing a murder,”
