Do You Remember Some Of These Classic Horror Games?

You can’t beat a horror gaming experience. The genre has always done a remarkable job at making people feel uneasy and like something sinister is on the horizon, but when it comes to gaming, it takes it up a notch or two. Books provide the same feelings of emotion for some, although having it illustrated on a screen right before your eyes is hard to rival. Over the years, numerous horror games have recorded great success on a variety of consoles. As technology has evolved, the games on offer have improved dramatically, too. Gamers keen on the genre have experienced creations that send the heart racing and get the adrenaline pumping on an impressively regular basis, with many classic games making a mark on what is a dedicated and loyal community of horror gamers. Unlike other genres, horror games provide the thrill and spooky nature that is hard to find elsewhere. Yes, sports games are entertaining, and it can be

Xbox One Review: ‘Amnesia Collection’ PART 1

I’ve wanted to review the new “Amnesia Collection” that’s out now on Xbox One, but I wanted to give the main game “Amnesia: The Dark Descent” a fair review since it’s been out for years and many opinions and reviews were already made about it, so here we go. You play as a man named Daniel, an explorer who awakens in a castle with no memory of how he got there but finds a trail of liquid that he follows and soon discovers clues to his past. He was cursed after an encounter with a mystical orb on an expedition. As the curse of a shadow haunts him he seeks help from a baron named Alex, who’s been experimenting with the orbs that have otherworldly powers that either allows those in control of it to travel different plains of existence or immortality. Through exploring the castle, Daniel learns what he and Alex have done in their quest to control the

‘Amnesia Collection’ On Xbox One Turns Up The Horror With New “Hard Mode”

Coming tomorrow (September 28th, 2018) Xbox One fans will be able to play the horror gaming experience, “Amnesia: The Dark Descent” as it arrives at the console but it’s not coming alone! “Amnesia Collection” will include all three titles from the series including the DLC story “Amnesia: Justine”, and the sequel “Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs”. The first person horror game takes players on a journey into madness as players must balance keeping the protagonist’s sanity level down while trying to explore their surroundings, having to rely on tinderboxes (matches) and lamp oil (for your trusty lamp) to light the way and help you feel safe. There’s a twist to the game’s arrival on XB1 as it will include a new difficulty mode for “Amnesia: The Dark Descent”, a hard mode. Normal gameplay is challenging enough but the developers are upping the ante. In hard mode: – Manual saves only, and saving costs four tinderboxes. – Oil and tinderboxes are

Gameplay Gets Medieval In ‘Lorn’

Currently in development by Teamkill Studio comes a survival horror game that will take players deep beneath the ruins of a great kingdom where horrors await in Lorn. The game will be in first-person and from what was seen in the teaser trailers players will have to traverse deadly obstacles, and using stealth to avoid being attacked by enemies very much like Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Players take on a role of Voss, a loyal servant to a king who with the help of supernatural powers just committed genocide and sealed the souls of those killed in an ancient artifact called ‘’the heart of god’’ that was given to him by beings that came from the sky in which the king refers to them as ‘they’. These beings promised to grant the king immortality if he harvested the souls. Voss stole the artifact and is on a quest to hide it as deep as he can go in the old

Players Facing Death In ‘Visage’

For gamers that like in your face horror games that give you the feeling that you’re living a horror movie experience, SadSquare Studio brings the horror home in ‘Visage’. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the game will most likely be released in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and yes, there will be a VR option! The title of the game comes from the old French/Latin word that means a person’s face or facial expression which is fitting since the game’s tagline seems to be, “Each death has its Visage.” ‘Visage’ takes place in the 1980’s in a large house where the player lives. The house over the years has been plagued by violent deaths in nearly every room. Players explore the house to unravel the mysteries it holds by witnessing the deaths of the past while at the same time trying to not attract too much dark energy by being afraid. In some respect the game visually
