The horror thriller “is the story of a childless couple, María (Noomi Rapace) and Ingvar (Hilmir Snaer Gudnason), who are sheep farmers in Iceland. On Christmas Eve they find a newborn who is half-human, half sheep. Longing for a child of their own they decide to keep the lamb-child and raise it as their own regardless of the consequences. This unexpected prospect of a new family brings them much joy before it ultimately destroys them.” Watch Lamb now on VOD.

A24 has snagged the world rights for the under-the-radar ghost story The Eternal Daughter, starring Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Suspiria, Constantine). The paranormal mystery-thriller, which is currently in post-production, centers on the story of a middle-aged daughter and her elderly mother who must confront long-buried secrets when they return to their former family home, a once-grand manor that has become a nearly vacant hotel brimming with mystery. ‘Annihilation’ Director Back With New Film ‘Men’

Alex Garland has made quite the name for himself in the horror genre with films like 28 Days Later, Ex Machina, the sci-fi horror Annihilation, and Hulu’s series “Devs.” Now he’s back with a new film which he not only wrote but will also direct. A24’s Horror ‘The Green Knight’ One Step Closer To Release

Earlier this year A24 and director David Lowery‘s (A Ghost Story) The Green Knight was scheduled to debut but became another victim of COVID. Now, news has come that it has scored an MPA rating of “R” due to “violence, some sexuality, and graphic nudity.” That’s one step closer to it getting a release. From visionary filmmaker David Lowery comes a fresh and bold spin on a classic tale from the knights of the round table,” A24 explained The Green Knight earlier this year. The film is “an epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, The Green Knight tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger, and tester of men. Movie Review: ‘The Other Lamb’ Is A Brilliant Lesson In Depravity

I was not prepared when I pressed play and sat down to watch Malgorzata Szumowska’s The Other Lamb. From the get-go, I had a feeling of overwhelming dread as I watched the Sheppard interact with wives and children. You see, his biological daughters are also his future wives (*shudders). His favorite daughter is Selah (Raffey Cassidy), who we watch go from being a child to t a young woman who finds her own strength as she comes to see the truth about her father. I will give you a warning, there are a lot of truly disturbing things in this film including several scenes of animal sacrifice, but the most disturbing is the incest that is present from beginning to end. The only monsters depicted here are the characters themselves, reminding us of the cruelty possible within a family. The Other Lamb is not your common horror film but definitely qualifies for the genre. I’ve seen thousands of horror films
