Sequel ‘Wyrmwood: Apocalypse’ Drops New Bloody, Badass Trailer

A new Wyrmwood movie is headed your way and we’ve got the new badass, gory trailer. Titled Wyrmwood: Apocalypse, the sequel is set in the zombie-infested Australian wasteland where a soldier named Rhys (Luke Mckenzie) has dedicated his life to tracking and capturing survivors in hopes of finding a cure. Rhys teams up with a group of super-powered survivors to save a young woman from death by military experimentation. The sequel to 2015’s Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, Apocalypse stars Kiah Roache-Turner, Shantae Barnes-Cowan, Nicholas Boshier, Bianca Bradey, and Jay Gallagher. XYZ Films will release Wyrmwood: Apocalyse sometime next year.

Here’s Everything We Know About The “Alien” TV Series So Far

FX’s is expanding the Alien universe with the franchise’s first series. While details are still limited we do know a few things so far. Franchise creator Ridley Scott, who is executive producing, revealed some details surrounding the new show during a recent interview with the BBC, including that the series will be eight to ten hours long in all. So, we’ll be seeing eight to ten episodes. What’s it about? FX’s John Landgraf has described the series as “the first Alien story set on Earth — and by blending both the timeless horror of the first Alien film with the non-stop action of the second, it’s going to be a scary thrill ride that will blow people back in their seats.” First announced back in 2020, the series is will feature Noah Hawley (“Legion,” “Fargo”) as showrunner. and has stated that “Alien” is “not a Ripley story,” adding, “She’s one of the great characters of all time, and I think

The Dead Rise In The ‘Amityville Uprising’ Trailer

At his point movies with “Amityville” in the title are a dime a dozen and are nine times out of ten are simply terrible. Hopefully, Lionsgate’s new horror Amityville Uprising will be one of the few good ones. Following The Amityville Harvest and The Amityville Moon, Uprising sees a chemical explosion at a military base set off a supernatural disaster, unleashing an acid rain the melts the flesh from bone from anyone it touches. If that wasn’t bad enough, the dead soon begin to rise. Written and directed by Thomas Churchill, Amityville Uprising stars Mike Furguson, Micah Fitzgerald, Kelly Lynn Reiter, Troy Fromin, Aleksandra Zorich Hunt, and Thomas J. Churchill as “Chuck”. Disney Announces Predator Prequel ‘Prey’s’ Summer Release

Disney Studios announced their summer 2022 release slate. One of the upcoming films is the new Predator prequel, simply titled Prey, set 300 years in the past. The movie pits a female Comanche warrior is pit against a predator. Written by Patrick Aison (Kingdom, Jack Ryan), Prey, is being directed by Dan Trachtenberg (“The Boys,” 10 Cloverfield Lane) and stars indigenous actress Amber Midthunder as the Comanche warrior, Naru who fights to protect her people from a Predator. Prey was inspired by the fan film Warrior Predator, from writer-director Chris Notarile of Blinky Productions. Watch the seven-minute fan film below. Prey debuts in the summer of 2022. Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley Reunite For ‘Hayride To Hell’

Genre legends Kane Hodder and Bill “Chop Top” Moseley who starred in Old 37 together, reunite to headline in the upcoming horror film, Hayride To Hell, which has now begun filming in Southeastern Pennsylvania. An original, darkly comic, gruesome revenge story, the film stars horror stalwarts, Kane Hodder, as Sheriff Jubell (Friday the 13th Part VII) and Bill Moseley as Farmer Sam (The Devil’s Rejects). Written by Bob Lange and Kristina Chadwick, the movie is from director-producer Dan Lantz, whose most recent movie, Alpha Rift, is set to premiere on November 19, 2021. In the film, a farmer (Moseley) takes his revenge in grand fashion on the unscrupulous town folk who try to steal his farm. Other cast members include Graham Wolfe (The Punisher, Mr. Robot, For Life) as Nixler, Amy Rutledge (Rent-A-Pal) as Patty, and Brooke Stacy Mills (Law Abiding Citizen). Tom McCoy serves as Director of Photography. Dan Lantz, Rob Margolies, and Gretel Snyder (Star Trek: Renegades) produce.

Dee Wallace Joins The Cast Of Demonic Horror Thriller ‘Incubus: New Beginnings’

Horror icon Dee Wallace has joined the cast of the upcoming demonic horror-thriller Incubus: New Beginnings. Incubus: New Beginnings centers on six college friends in their late thirties who reunite to support one of their own going through a divorce. An Incubus demon enlists the aid of two ghosts to help terrorize them as he seeks to impregnate the women and take their babies back to hell. Eubank stars as the divorcee, surrounded by her friends (Swisyzinna, Jones, Summers, Keith) as the weekend getaway turns into a fight for their souls. Wallace, who plays Zura Valentine, a demonologist who comes to the group’s aid, stars alongside Natalie Jones, Kristin Keith, Krystal Summers, Will Colburn, Lorraine Eubank, and Robb Hudspeth. Terry Aderholt will both direct and produce the film which he also wrote. Israel Luna (Dead Don’t Die in Dallas) will produce under his LaLuna Entertainment banner. ‘Halloween Kills: Extended Cut’ Coming To Prime And Steelbook

Back in October David Gordon Green‘s second installment of his Halloween trilogy, Halloween Kills (review), made its premiere on Peacock’s streaming service, now it’s heading to home release. Halloween Kills: Extended Cut, is set to arrive on Amazon this December, on the 13th, but that’s not all, the Halloween Kills 4K Ultra Steelbook will be unleashed on January 11th, exclusively at Best Buy. . Speaking with Collider, David Gordon Green teased the extended cut. This is the director’s cut through and through, but there’s an additional scene that we filmed that was scripted. And actually, I think is a pretty brilliant scene. Creature Feature ‘They Crawl Beneath’ Snagged By Well Go USA

Well Go USA, who brought you films such as Train to Busan and Train to Busan: Penninsula, has acquired the horror-thriller They Crawl Beneath from Film Mode Entertainment. Starring Michael Pare (The Lincoln Lawyer, Gone) and Joseph Almani (Law of Attraction) the film is directed by Dale Fabrigar, produced by Suzanne DeLaurentiis, executive produced by Kevin Goetz, and co-executive produced by Stephen Hornyak and Neil Goetz. FME will be showing first-look footage to buyers during AFM. In They Crawl Beneath, Danny (Joseph Almani), is a young cop working on his Uncle Bill’s (Michael Pare) classic vintage car on a secluded ranch when a major earthquake hits. Sink Your Teeth Into The New ‘Morbius’ Trailer

A new trailer has arrived for Marvel’s Morbius, giving us a glimpse of Morbius’ origin story and a ton of bloody action. Jared Leto as Michael Morbius, a scientist who, while trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transforms himself into a living vampire. Though disgusted by his own bloodlust, he chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life. Tyrese Gibson stars as FBI agent Simon Stroud; Jared Harris (“The Terror”) plays Morbius’ mentor; Matt Smith (“Doctor Who”) plays the film’s villain Loxias Crown; and Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising) is Morbius’ love interest. Daniel Espinosa (Life) directs from the script penned by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless based on the Morbius character created by writer Roy Thomas which made its debut in Amazing Spider-Man #101. Director Announces ‘Evil Dead Rise’ Has Wrapped

The new Evil Dead sequel, from Irish director Lee Cronin, has officially wrapped, coming one step closer to release. The news came via Twitter from Cronin himself who states the film ran into a delay thanks to Covid. The fifth film of the franchise, Evil Dead Rise, which went through a massive 6,500 liters of fake blood, centers around two sisters, Beth (Lily Sullivan) and Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland). Set in Los Angeles, the movie finds the sisters fighting off deadites after some moron reads from the Necronomicon. Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, and Nell Fisher also star alongside Sullivan and Sutherland. While franchise star Bruce Campbell will not be starring, he will be executive producing, along with Sam Raimi under his Ghost House Pictures banner, as well as Warner Bros.
