Halloween III: A Second Look

Gather Round Your TV Sets, Kids “You don’t really know much about Halloween.” – Conal Cochran Oh, You Mean THAT Halloween Movie… It’s the one without Michael Myers. It has nothing to do with the other movies. This one sucks. Right? Well you’re right on two counts. Halloween III: Season of the Witch does not have Michael Myers. It is not connected in any way to the Jamie Lee Curtis storyline started with the 1978 John Carpenter classic and most importantly, it was never meant to. Halloween III is as misunderstood as it is reviled with most of the hostility for the film attributed to the concept of Cynema. “When the [ Halloween II ] script came in I thought it was…the anti-Halloween. All the things that Halloween did so well…had been tossed out the window…I understood that in the intervening time between the first movie and what was going to be the second movie that times had changed, audiences

The owner said that activity began just two weeks after he inherited the puppet. He stated “I was wide awake in bed and thought I saw a shadow move from one side of the window to the other and worried something was trying to scare us.” He continued “Then without warning my throat suddenly went really tight, I’ve never had anyone’s hands around my throat before so it was really scary. Alan Fine’s Paranormal Film ‘The Catalyst’

A few days ago I stumbled across a tweet from the account for a movie ‘The Catalyst’. I was curious, and upon further investigation, I found a website address. On the website, which is still under construction, I found a place where people can submit their true ghost stories by a post or video. I couldn’t resist, I submitted my tale (yes I believe in ghosts), then I continued on, to the part of the site dedicated to the movies, Alan Fine intends to make into a franchise. The movie has an interesting plot. In ‘The Catalyst’ a couple, challenged with fertility problems, finally have the daughter they longed for, but as a child the daughter is killed in a freak accident. After several years the couple is blessed with another daughter. When the girl turns the same age at which they lost the first daughter, strange paranormal activity begins to plague the family. The smallest accident, the drop of

Paranormal Investigators Find More Than They Bargained For, A Dead Body

Paranormal investigators, exploring the old Kuhn Memorial State Hospital in Vicksburg, found more than they were bargaining for when they discovered a dead body on the grounds of the hospital late last night. Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong stated that the body was that of a woman in her 60’s. The death is being ruled a homicide by the Warren County Coroner, who suspects the cause of death is blunt force trauma. The body does match the description of a 69 year old woman who has gone missing, but due to the state of the remains, further testing is required. Two men have been taken into custody who confessed that they did abduct the missing woman Saturday night, but claim they did drop her off at a location alive. The hospital, where the Paranormal investigators found the body, has been vacant since 1989. The grounds are rumored to be haunted by many. The hospital was also used as a filming
