Writer-Director Donna McRae Talks ‘Lost Gully Road’

Indie filmmaker Donna McRae’s new indie film Lost Gully Road has just been released. I had the pleasure of talking with McRae about the film and other projects. The dark minimalistic film starring Adele Perovic as a woman waiting at a remote cabin for her sister, not knowing that she is not alone there in the forest. Horror Fuel: “Will you tell us about your journey becoming a filmmaker?” Donna McRae: “After drama school, I was an actress doing short films and advertisements, but I met up with a young director in film school and I was playing the leading role in his film and I started writing. When I left drama school, after about two years, all the roles that I wanted didn’t happen and so I just started writing screenplays to pass the time. I felt like I liked that better. I like creating story worlds and I was basically trying to write things for myself to be

Bree Klauser Talks About The Amazing World Of Apple TVs “See” And More

November 8th we will be introduced to a new amazing series, “See” set in a dystopian future where the human race has lost the sense of sight and society has had to find new ways to interact, build, hunt and to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins are born with sight. Don’t get me started on the amazing cast that includes Jason Momoa and Alfie Woodard, as well as Bree Klauser who I had the pleasure of talking with about the series, her role, and more. An Interview With ‘3 From Hell’ Star Bill Moseley

Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell is set to be unleashed on September 16th. Ahead of the premiere, I had the pleasure of sitting down with horror icon Bill Moseley, who first played the role of the brutal badass Otis Firefly in House of 1,000 Corpses back in 2003. Moseley took on Otis again in the second film of the trilogy, The Devil’s Rejects. Now, Moseley is back in 3 From Hell. Zombie’s bloody trilogy follows the Firefly family, Otis, Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) and Winslow (Richard Brake) as the slash their way out of prison and hit the road on the run. Richard Bates Jr. Talks ‘Tone-Deaf’ And People Who Are Full Of Sh*t

Award-winning filmmaker Richard Bates Jr., the director behind Suburban Gothic and Excision, sat down with me to talk about his most recent film, Tone-Deaf, starring Amanda Crew and Robert Patrick. Not your average horror film, Tone-Deaf follows a woman (Crew) who goes to the countryside to spend a quiet weekend after losing her job and having her complicated relationship implode on the same day. She rents a country house from an old-fashioned widower (Patrick), who struggles to hide his psychopathic tendencies. Horror Fuel: “I enjoyed Tone-Deaf. How did the story come to be?” Richard Bates Jr.: “Well, I’ll tell ya, I was watching the news with my wife. And I asked her what scares her the most in the world right now and she turned to me blankly and said ‘Old men.’ So, I went to my little corner and started thinking about it. “Walking Dead” Star Pollyanna McIntosh Talks Darlin’ And More In An Interview

I sat down with talented actress turned director Pollyanna McIntosh to talk with her about many things, including her role on “The Walking Dead”, in The Woman and her directorial debut Darlin’ which we gave a rave review. Darlin’, the sequel to 2011’s intense horror film The Woman, centers on a young feral woman (Lauryn Canny) who finds her way into a hospital. She is whisked off to a care home run by The Bishop (Bryan Batt, AMC’s Mad Men) and his obedient nuns where she is to be tamed into a “good girl.” However, Darlin’ holds a secret darker than the “sins” she is threatened with, and she is not traveling alone. The Woman (McIntosh), equally fierce and feral, who raised her is ever-present and is determined to come for her no matter who tries to step in her way. Horror Fuel: “How has playing Jadis/Anne affected your life?” Pollyanna McIntosh: “Wow, good question. I think that being on
