Product Review: Maroon Bell Skeleton Motorcycle Gloves

Sometimes you need something like gloves to bring your outfit together, whether casual, cosplay, on the job, hanging out, serving our country, or riding your steel steed. Leather gloves are the best but there are so many kinds out there to choose from that fit your uniqueness. An unsuspecting ally is here for this need, meet Maroon Bell Outdoor which specializes in leather goods for the outdoors. I want to thank Jeremy, the founder of Maroon Bell Outdoor for sending over some of their Lion Guard Motorcycle gloves and making this review possible! Right away the gloves look awesome with the skeletal patchwork sewn onto the glove, which I really like as it reminds me of my favorite wrestler growing up, La Parka (L.A. Park). The gloves are made with water buffalo leather, which is said to be three times stronger than cow leather meaning they’ll last longer and will over time mold to your hand thanks to the use

Hershey Being Sued Over Lack Of Face On Pumpkin Reese’s

A Woman in Florida has filed a five million dollar class action lawsuit against confectionary giant Hershey over false advertising. The product in question? Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pumpkins. What’s the issue? On the packaging, it shows the pumpkin-shaped chocolate/peanut butter delight sporting a jack-o-lantern face but to the horror of Cynthea Kelly, the woman filing this lawsuit, it was just a pumpkin-shaped chocolate peanut butter cup! Cynthea is not alone as others on social media and YouTubers have had their Halloween experience ruined by the pumpkin-shaped candy not having a jack-o-lantern face carved out of it. Companies have the right to creatively advertise a product or to make it fit the season. True, some companies have indeed lied about products and they have been rightly called out on it, then there are cases like this where it seems to be a bit of a stretch and showing an increasing problem I’ve been noticing socially… feigned inconvenience, where people either

Six True Crimes That Happened On Halloween

Halloween is a day when ghosts and ghouls come out to play, and danger lurks around every corner. There is a horde of legends and stories that serve as cautionary tales, such as keeping a Jack-O-Lantern lit, giving out candy, not disrespecting the dead, and parents checking to ensure sweets aren’t tainted or contain razor blades or needles. There’s a reason for all that: demented villains have committed horrific crimes on Halloween. And we’ve got a list. Here are six true crimes committed on our favorite holiday. The Real Candy Man On Halloween in 1974, Ronald Clark O’Bryan earned the title “The Candy Man.” Why? Because O’Bryan poisoned pixie sticks and handed them out to five trick ‘r treaters, two being his own children. His eight-year-old son Timothy was the only one to eat the sugary treat laced with potassium cyanide. Timothy was dead within the hour. The death sent their hometown in Texas into a panic that spread across

Michael Dougherty Gives An Update On ‘Trick ‘R Treat 2’

Since its premiere in 2007, fans have been begging for a sequel to writer-director Michael Dougherty‘s Halloween horror anthology Trick ‘r Treat. For years, there have been promises of its delivery. But where does it actually stand? Recently, during a talk with Collider, Dougherty gave an update about the long-awaited sequel and its status. And it’s great news! The sequel is in active development, and the script is complete. “I will say this, because we said it last year at the Beyond Fest screening, the sequel is in active development with Legendary,” Dougherty said. “I’ll go so far as to say that we have several drafts of a script. I brought back the same storyboard artist I mentioned before, Simeon Wilkins, so we have a stack of storyboards and a good fat stack of concept art done by Breehn Burns as well. So it’s inching along. I’m hoping to talk to Legendary. They’ve been wonderful, like great collaborators. But so

Product Review: Wick LED Candle Light By Levenger

It’s that time of year when it’s getting cooler outside, rainy nights are becoming more frequent, and Halloween is on our minds. Two things that collide head-on this time of year are being cozy and getting spooky, and there’s no better way to experience this than reading spooky stories… by candlelight. Reading by candlelight is a fun experience, especially if you like reading classic horror like I do, but it can come with some drawbacks. The main issue is you’re dealing with an open flame, and sometimes fire is not our friend. This is where Levenger comes in with the Wick LED Candle. I want to first thank Levenger for sending over one of these candles for me to try! Levenger keeps readers, writers, and those who like to do a bit of thinking in mind with a wide range of products, the Wick LED Candle being one of their best sellers, and after trying it out, I can see
