Director Kelsey Bollig took her real-life horror, her near-death experience of being crushed by an SUV, and used it as motivation to create a film, Kickstart My Heart.

In the film, Lilly (Emma Pasarow), wakes to find herself battling her greatest demons with the help of Richie, her little brother. Lilly travels through three levels of hell that she must face in order to survive the accident.

As soon as a release date is announced, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, we’ve got the trailer for Kick Start My Heart that explores what it is like to face your own personal hell in order to survive.
