Over thirteen years after Scary Movie 5, the beloved spoof franchise returns today on physical media with Scary Movie (2026) on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
Reunited for the first time in over two decades, the franchise’s legendary original cast leads the mayhem in Scary Movie. Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans reprise their iconic roles as Shorty and Ray Wilkins. Anna Faris returns as Cindy Campbell, and Regina Hall is back as Brenda Meeks. This time, the core gang is thrust back into the crosshairs of a relentless masked killer.
Joining the core group are Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, and Chris Elliott. Kenan Thompson, Kim Wayans, Damon Wayans Jr., and Heidi Gardner.
No Modern Horror Trope Escapes the Chopping Block
The sixth entry aims at every horror trend, trope, and cliché that has emerged over the past decade. And no modern trend is off-limits. The film gleefully parodies elevated horror, prestige art-house thrillers, legacy “requels,” cash-grab prequels, and final chapters that refuse to end.
